Remarks
Infrastructure is a mojor problem in this college. In this college you will find that the academic building is not even renovated since it was made. Now from the 2 to 3 years work on the new building is going on and we hope that it will get completed soon.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is good. Subjects are moreover related to the development of knowledge of the people towards their own field. Exam Structure is fine as in one semester we have mid semester and end semester along with the practicals taken when the end semester approaches.
Placement Experience
There are quite a huge amount of job opportunities out here in NIT Jamshedpur. Here are factories and companies in locality which comes as mass recruiter and give jobs to nearly all who applied for the placement. NIT Jamshedpur is among the top 10 college within NIT's when it comes on placement.
College Events
Our college has sports fest known as URJA in which the whole college participates with great enthusiasm. Cultural fest known as Culfest and Technical fest known as OJASS. Please come from different colleges to take part in both the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure of NIT Jamshedpur is quite expensive for one year you have to give 2,09,000 rupees to study which is quite a huge amount for people with lower income. For higher class and upper middle class it is easy to pay the amount but others have to take loan from the banks to pay their fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there is quite a good loan facility inside the college. There is State Bank of India in our college campus and at the time of admission there are various stalls of different banks to give loans for the students.
Campus Life
As i have wrote earlier that the infrastructure of the college is not very good and there are many problems when it on the buildings in which we do the experiment. All the labs are conducted timely but sometimes we face problems due to unavailability some experiment related things.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility in NIT Jamshedpur is quite good there will find new buildings in which the students can live with a good state of mind. They are made just a few years back even before of entering in this college so they are made with modern technology.
Alumni/Alumna
There is quite a good relationship between the alumni and senior students as there is I and R team in our college which mains the contact and acts as bridge between students and the alumni of the college.
Admission
Jee Mains was conducted by the CBSE board and there i got 31166 All India Rank and then I applied for the JOSAA counselling. I went through 7rounds and then applied for special round and at last I got this college.
Faculty
There are new faculty recruited last year and they quite nice and people full of intelligence. The older faculty has some of the best teachers we can think of but some could not come upto the expectations of a student.
