College Review

All in all, I think the college is one of the best colleges of Central India. Since it is not as old, there is still a development phase going on. But because of the hard work of faculties and students, this college is gaining recognition at all india level. One remark should be that the college has huge amount of free area which can be utilized to further improve the college

I think the course curriculum here is quite good. The syllabus focuses on both theoretical and practical aspects of subjects. And multiple projects are available for further exposure. The exam structure followed is CBCS. 3 midsems are organized in which best of 2 for 40 marks is considered. The end semester exam is of 60 marks. Then practical subject account for practical examinations, and then a Comprehensive viva tests your knowledge in all the subjects.

Placement and Job opportunities are one of the best found in Madhya Pradesh. This year only 2 companies with a package of 20 lakh per annum came to our college and 15 students were selected. About 90-95% students get placement overall, while CS IT percentage hovers near 98. Most of the companies provide internsip opportunities, stipend hovering near 20-30k per month, while the university also has multiple inside projects that students can undertake.

1. Aakshank, The widely recognized cultural festival of our college, boasts to be largest cultural fest of Central India. Many of the top stars and DJs have performed in aakshank over the years. Nikhil Dsouza, Papon are some of the big names. 2. Invento, our tech fest is also a very widely recognized technical fest of central india. Multiple competitions of robo race, coding hackathons, chip designs etc are organised.

Looking at the awesome campus, and the opportunites plus the facilities provided here, fees is quite feasible. The fees for a year is about 67k per year, it is divided into 2 semesters. In first semester you are required to pay 40k and in second semester, you have to pay 27k.

There are many good scholarship facilities offered by my college. The first one is based upon scholarship for students belonging to backward classes and Scheduled caste and tribe. They get about 14 15k per year. Other scholarship is based upon merit and is given by MP govt based upon merit shown in an exam.

Extra curricular activities are in excellent shape hear. We have tons of different clubs such as literary club, Engineer without borders, and Goonj band for music enthusiasts. There are labs for every subject. Sports is at very good level because of being a teaching department of University.

Seniors and Alumnus are extremely talented as well as helpful. There are manu alumnus who are now working in reputed tech giants such as Google, Microsoft etc. They provide us with excellent opportunities and recommendations for internships and careers.

First I had to clear 12th Board exams to be eligible. Then i had to give JEE Mains exam, on the basis of which I was alloted an All india Rank. I then applied for Counselling on MPOnline portal. I set a preference for 3 colleges of MP all for CS branch. I got selected for this college, in the first round of counselling.

The faculty of the college is quite good and the teaching level is also satisfactory. All of the professors are atleast post graduates and many are PhDs from reputed institutions. Faculty promotes students welfare as well as enriching their minds for technological advancements.
