The management of our college is very smooth.It performs very well.It always provides all the necessary information to the students in time regarding our academics, placements, internships and many more.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have many technical courses apart from CSE like EEE,EC, mechanical, civil and so on.The courses provided by the institution is necessarily enough for such a place like Sikkim.It is though difficult to provide real-world applications with very fewer resources, but still, the college has taken care of those things and kept yhe balance.
Placement Experience
The placements that we are provided within our college are amongst the best. Students are placed every year in the best of best companies.The placed students are getting very good packages according to their skills and learning.
College Events
Apart from academics, our college celebrates many events like independent day, republic day and many more. This college also celebrates its one of the biggest cultural fest that usually hails in the month of February and March. Apart from this biggest cultural fest college also has departmental fests and cultural nights of different singing, dancing, artistry clubs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since I got the admission through government quota,I need to pay only 30% of the total tuition fees. First-year I paid 150000 for tuition fees,105000 for hostel fees and 10000 for miscellaneous fees.This semester I paid 149000 in total for the entire session.

Campus Life
Campus life is one of the most enjoyable days of our life. Here in SMIT, I have got many friends around who are very helpful and amiable and due to whom my college life is passing smoothly. Students from different states seek their education from SMIT.Every year many students from other states get admitted in college. The ratio of boys as a whole is more than girls.
Alumni/Alumna
We recently had alumni meet in our college. Seniors who are now working in different fields apart from technical fields took an initiative to come to college and share their experience with us about their life here in SMIT.
Admission
I got the admission in this college through noncet.I filled the form and was given the date to be present for the counseling.I was given a list of colleges from which I had to choose the college from where I wanted to pursue my course. Choosing the subject was difficult to ultimstely.
Faculty
The faculties of our college are very friendly and always there to help students as far as possible. They are very outgoing and maintains a teacher-student relationship. The faculties are provided with the chambers where we can meet them whenever they are free and we have some work with them.
