About my college

Infrastructure is the best about this college. Environment here is good with trees, shades, pond and the maintenance of the environment is good and clean. Books are available in library which is good but not enough for all. Food here is not good in college canteen. College location is a bit farther away from the city. Play ground and cricket pitches are maintained very well. Placement offers are good.

Courses here were same as all anna university undertaken colleges,which has 8 semesters for 4 years for B.E.But now this college is autonomous. Where the courses and the subjects are advanced to learn. About exam ,3 internal tests are conducted for internal marks and the main exam marks for 60 is added and final cgpa is calculated and thus exam structure is a bit easy than before.

Placement is one of the best about this college. More than 50 companies come each year for recruitment. 98% of students who opts to work will get placed in more than 1 company. Offer letters will be given at the end of the final semester. Internships are also given to students who got placed in some companies at the final semester to finish their final semester project with them. Also stipend is given by some companies.

List of events are inauguration, Symposium each year, Blood donation each year, Sports day for each year, Mini projects event , Teachers day events, Placement events, Hackathon, Cultural day will be conducted each year. Events are much more helpful to improve extra curricular activities and to win competitions.

Fees structure is based on management and merit quota. If merit quota then the fees structure is feasible and the amount of expenditure is much less compared to management quota. Donation is required for management quota, which is much expensive.

Both scholarship and loan will be offered by this college via Indian Bank (IOB). IOB bank is present inside the college for all transactions. This college also offers IEEE scholarship based on the paper presentation and also the college will offer a good amount if the project is valuable one and is useful for society. It is applicable for one in each department.

Extracurricular activities are the one that makes one to shine in this college. Laboratory are very good to gain your practical knowledge and experience. Teachers in these laboratory sections teaches with good practical explanations. Sports events are conducted among other colleges as tournaments. All kinds of sports are held here.

Yes , they are very helpful in motivation and placement talks. Each year there will be 2 or 3 seminars conducted by alumni on their recent research and experiences.They will also conduct workshop that will go up to a day or two.

Admission process was a bit easy compared to other colleges. I am a lateral entry student since i did diploma, my admission process was done by anna university counseling which happened at Karaikudi.I chose this college while counseling and then joined this college and paid my fees.

Faculty here are with high knowledge and experience with such good helping tendencies. They teach you with all u need to know in your understandable way. They will teach subjects that you need to know about other than your portions too. Coaching classes are also conducted for students who needs to learn more or fails in tests.
