The college is excellent and provides overall development. Whether it is academics, sports or any other extra curricular activity we learn a lot and develop the skills in these areas. Various measures like zero percent attendance help the students to learn in their own way.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well designed and up to date. The exam has 150 questions with 12 bonus questions being unlocked if you answer all the 150 questions. 03 marks are awarded for a right question and one negative mark for a wrong question. Questions from English and logical reasoning are also present.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite good. The job opportunities are excellent. Placements are on a steady rise. Decent placements can be seen in the core sector with majority of the placements happening in the IT sector.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in our campus. They are Atmos - Technical fest of campus. Has various competitions and workshops. Pearl - Cultural fest of campus. Best entertaining days on campus with high energy pro shows. Arena- sports fest where different colleges across India participate. Verba Maximus - Literary fest
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is slightly expensive when compared to other colleges. The tuition fee is around 2 lakhs per semester and this increases every year with the max cap at 15% a year. For single degree students the fee is executed to be around 18 lakhs for the batch 2018-2022.
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit scholarship- Its for the top performing students of the campus. They get a certain amount of scholarship which varies from year to year. Merit-cum need scholarship- It's for those whose family income is below a certain limit decided by the institute.
Campus Life
There are various clubs and departments in the campus. Some of them being Music club, Dramatics club, Automatics and Robotics club and so on. The labs are excellent , and well equipped. Various sports are played in the campus like Basketball, football ,volleyball and so on.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are excellent. First year the rooms are shared between two members. From second year onwards single rooms are provided to everyone. Girls get single rooms from their first year.
Alumni/Alumna
BITS is known for its alumni network. Various key positions in various top firms are held by BITSians. BITSians are always ready to help their fellow counterparts and the alumni network is spread all across the world.
Admission
Admission into BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus is by writing BITSAT. BITSAT is similar to JEE mains with 150 questions. Having written BITSAT you get your score. After this you fill your preferences and then the seat allotment happens.
Faculty
The faculty are excellent. They have great research experience and teach very well. The interest shown by them in their field of interest is immense. The faculty is ready to help the student at all times.
