College Review

Food is something you're likely to not like. Well no one likes their own hostel mess. This is mainly because the food is made with Gujarati people in mind. Also management is not very good. Important matters take some time to reach higher authorities.

Course curriculum is well designed and is great. Main subjects start right from the 1st sem. Also cyber security related subjects and topics are regularly introduced. Exam structure is simple that is 1 or 2 class test(depends on teacher), assignment, practical file and then sem end. Every subject has viva or practical test also.

My batch is the very 1st batch started in 2017. And hence there's no placements or internships yet. But it is said by faculty that we will have company come for recruitment. Also some companies which come for recruitment of masters programme will look for us too.

Technical events are organised by our department with help from masters programme also. This is done twice a year. With cultural events hosted by students from whole university, that too twice a year.

Fee is feasible. For boys it is 3600 approximately and for girls it is 2100 approximately. Some 1100 is also to be given at the time of admission for sports uniform which is also good. For this fee one can study easily.

Scholarships are given to 1st and 2nd year students those who seek out for it. Also those scholarship are introduced which are induced by PM. For this much fees no loan is required and hence there's no loan facility.

Vast number of activities are there. Many sports available to play with big enough ground. Indoor sports also available like table tennis and chess. Labs are equipped with latest and high performance computers.

Hostel infrastructure is great just like the university. Room are adequate for 3 to 4 people but have 2 people per room. Almirah with locks are provided to each student. And blocks are divided based on courses. Also bathroom and washroom facilities are good with 3 of each on one floor.

Yes, the alumni students are very helpful. As ours is the 1st batch so we regularly talk to masters programme who passed out. They also help us keep up to date with which company is better for internship and placement.

Well at my time of admission it was just merit list. People who applied were scored on basis of how they performed in jee and boards and hence merit list was generated. Now the admission is through gujcat.

College is great with very good infrastructure. It lacks a bit in engineering study environment. Faculty is very helpful and considerate towards student. They will listen to you if you give them the respect they deserve.
