My college experience

JMI (JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA) is a central university and established in 1920 but the basic problem is nepotism in recruiting teaching and Non-teaching staffs and nepotism become a deep cause in quality of education because genuine and talented proffers did not get a recruit. University absolutely not care about quality education in any departments except Dentist, Mass communication and it may be Law department.

MBA IB Course curriculum- 1st semester- 8 Subjects. 2nd semester- 8 Subjects. 3rd semester- 7 subjects+ 1 Internship & its report. 4th semester- 7 subjects+ 1 extracurricular in terms of research submitted. Each subject is of 100 marks (75 External & 25 internal). Internal exams including Mid-semester exam, Group Assignment, attendance, & others.

University has no collaboration with any MNC, prestigious companies except someone. University provides placement offers only B.tech (CSE). All other departments don't care about placement and university placement cell also don't care.

In JMI, a central annual event organised by JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA university in approximate Mid March and each department of the university also organised the annual event with own name and celebrating a lot of cultural events like- Dancing, singing, poetry, fashion shows, Quizzes, Street play, Qawwali and many more. You can enjoy full march & April in different events by different departments.

This is central university So, fees are less than other universities & private institutions. Some courses fees are high because some courses are self-financed but most courses are regular so fees are feasible and students don't charge on the name of extracurricular & other things compare than private colleges charge.

No, I have not opted for any education loan but, I have applied for a scholarship that is central government schemes but I have not received any scholarship because of corruption in the government system.

Campus Life is good except for the quality of education. University has DSW(Dean social welfare) and many clubs are available for students on nominal fees like- University has Debate, Literacy, sports, Quizzes, Song, Dance and other clubs with a good mentor. The sports complex is good and available cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, and many other indoor and outdoor games' coach and facilities available.

An alumni network has to constitute on the name of AAJMI(Alumni association of Jamia MILLIA ISLAMIA) election is held for AAJMI administration. AAJMI maintain a network of Alumni and provide scholarship to current students who are economically poor and AAJMI helps students in any problems like University administration is harassing to students on any genuine Matti. AAJMI provide backup support to students if students are protesting against administration, government or any.

I had never intended to get admission in JMI. One of my friends is filling his own form and recommend me for applying entrance exam whether you take admission or not So, I applied for an MBA (Full time & International business) both. Here MBA is four types of MBA (Full time/General, IB, executive & entrepreneurs).
