My college is a great place to come to at this age group as the opportunities it provides helps in shaping ourselves as better personalities the real world and raising our carrer to the peak. The administration body is very active and fast. Also in most of the councils, student representatives have been elected to listen to and understand the issues related to campus and its residents which also gives an exposure to the students to handle the positions of responsibilty.

Course curriculum in my college is very vast and gives an insight into the subject which lets you learn the subject to the fullest along with being able to apply that knowledge in the real world. Exam structure here is quite interesting which tests you every possible way.All the quizzes, assignments,general discussions , vonduction of interesting labs every week and of the end semester examination helps in learning a lot.

Placements in my college are one of the best in our country. Last placement season we had our 89% of our students placed in companies from all over the world which was the highest placement statistics in the whole country. Yes my college does provide internship. Internship in itself is a great learning experience and an opportunity to try your hands at new and interesting things. I got an internship at adobe by clearing a test which was then followed by a interview. A stipend of 80,000 was involved. Besides the stipend it was a great opportunity to handle the real world problems which made me learn many new things.

There are many events celebrated in my collrge. 1. Udghosh - It is a 4 day national level sports event. Colleges from all over the country come to take part in it and showcase their sporting talents. 2. Antaragni - One of the greatest cultural festivals of the country, celebrated with great joy and happiness by every living being on the campus. Best Colleges from all over the country come and showcase their cultural talents. It is one of the most indulging festival full of fun and laughter. 3. Techktiti - Asia's largest technical festival. showcasing of talents in science and technology field. During this event many international scientists and research workers come to give talks and share their experiences which is a great learning opportunity for campus residents. Also many of the big software companies like amazon alexa sponsor this festival.

If we look upon the fee structure, it seems quite expensive for all type of students to afford. Recently the goverment underwent some policy changes which led to increase in the fees but along with that fee structure is designed category wise such that the students of each category are able to afford the fees making it feasible for everyone. Also our college provides various scholarships to all kinds of students.

Our college offers scholarships of various kinds to students of each category.For example research people receive their research grant, if your fzmily income is low you get a scholarship, if your gpa is good you get scholarship etc. I have personally availed the merit cum means scholarship which was based on my gpa. Also college offer education loans to students which are not able to afford the fees with minimal or no interest.

Extracurricilar activities in our college is one of the best in the country , be it sports or cultural. In sports, every possible facility is available. An international sized cricket ground, football ground, hockey ground, olympic size swimming pool, instructors for all forms of sport events including acquatic events. In cultural we have various clubs like dance, dramatics, english and hindi literature societies,music club,adventure club. They are really very good.In the workshops we learn from the best people in those fields. This helps in improving our personality anx gocusing on our hidden talents.

Since the college was built around 60 years ago, some of the hostels which were built at that time are not so good looking, but all the facilities are present in them. Recently our campus witnessed the construction of new hostels which are very creative and good looking infrastructure wise. Every possible facility is provide eithin the hostels. Some of the facilities present in every hostel are proper working lifts, clean washrooms, washing machines, TV in TV rooms, music rooms, TT rooms, computer rooms and very well furnished guest rooms.

We have a great alumni network. We have formed various groups and remain connected with them in every event. They really help in shaping our future plans and gives an insight related to carrer. Along with these ,seniors are always present to help in every difficulty we face in our day to day stay at the campus. They are really good and helpful.

Criteria for getting admission in my college is to clear one of the most toughest exams of the country, that is JEE Advanced. Like every other IIT aspirant I started coaching classes from 11th standard and worked hard for 2 years to finally achieve my aim of clearing JEE. After the entrance was cleared I was a bit confused about taking which IIT. After a lot of consultation from my friends, siblings and going through a hell lot of reviews over internet, I finally took IIT Kanpur which I now believe was the most correct decision ever made by me.

Faculty here are one of the best you can get in the country. They are all graduates of the top universities of the wotld like harvard, mit etc. Faculty here are very expetienced and its fun learning from them. All the professors are kind and highly knowledgable. Msny of them have received many international awards.
