The course curriculum is somewhat similar to the curriculum in foreign universities. Their is cumulative grading and relative grading in the college. You have to take up a maximum of 25 credits in a semester which includes some of the compulsory courses (CDC's), humanities, open electives(courses offered by department other than yours) and disciplinary electives. For graduation you need to complete all the CDC's, 3 humanities, 15 credits of open electives and 12 credits of disciplinary electives. The exam structure is based on 3 evaluative components: Quizzes, Midsem exam and end sem exam with atleast 30% of the evaluation being open book and the last year question papers available online.

One of the best in placement and internship opportunities provided. There are two different placement cycles with different sets of students participating in both of them. The students sitting in 1st sem go for Practice School in the next sem and vice versa, there is a PPO opportunity to students from the Practice School also. Internship is provided for the pre final year students and stipend ranges from 50k to 1.6 lakhs per month mostly for the IT students.

There are different events happening in the college almost everyday something or the other. The top of them being Atmos(Technical Fest), Arena(Annual Sports Fest), Pearl(Cultural Fest), Verba Maximus(Literary Fest) and Sanskriti(Regional Assocd night). Other than this there are talks from some pronounce celebrities and workshops for students on campus or out of campus.

The college fee is a bit expensive but the loan facility and scholarships given can help you to complete the graduation. But once you see the infrastructure and facilities provided by the college the fee seems to be equivalent to all this.

There are two different types of scholarship offered merit and merit cum need scholarship. The merit scholarship is given totally on merit based and the merit cum need scholarship is based on your family income and grades you achieve during the semester.

All the extracurricular activities are there and the whole student community is involved in this and has a good affect on their social and communication skills along with the academics. There is a proper cricket, football, hockey ground and basketball, badminton, tennis and squash court with other baord game eminities also.

Single rooms are provided to students and there are common rooms which have television and board games. The facilities provided are great and the common washroom are cleaned on a daily basis while the corridors being cleaned twice a day.

The alumni network is very strong and has impacts on students and their life's be it placements or higher studies or off campus opportunities. Seniors on campus are very helpful. They are available whenever you require help and give full support to their juniors in any of the field be it related to acads or other life issues.

There is a separate examination conducted by the institute named BITSAT which has 150 questions with 3 marks for a correct answer and you get admission based totally on merit with no kind of reservation for any community. After the exam on the basis of scores you can have a look to the branch alloted to you in different iterations numbering from 1 to 5 and this makes the admission not the easiest at all.

The faculty of the college are being rotated from all the three campuses Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. They have a good knowledge about their profession and there are research going among themselves from years. They also provide project opportunities to stduenst who can publish their paper and thesis under the faculty. The faculty is very friendly and helpful regarding placements, thesis and higher studies opportunities.
