Remarks
My experience in university of Allahabad was good. Good infrastructure and social environment are the points that I would like to highlight. Faculties are good but short in numbers as there are many vacant seats in overall departments.
Course Curriculum Overview
Overall good atmosphere to study under the guidance of science faculties. There was semester system in master of science (Chemistry) as I was enrolled in that course. There are also internal examinations per semester schedule which carry a weightag in your semester marks.overall four semester were in my course.
Placement Experience
There were some recruitment drives organised on yearly basis. The placements were not that good in numbers but there were placements going on at the campus for various sectors and industries, companies.
College Events
There are so many events organised every year. At the beginning there are Freshers party organised by the seniors of that department and then many cultural activities by the departments are also organised. Farewell parties for seniors are organised by the junior students of that department/campus. There is also an annual celebration by all the students of the university together and many competitions in that programme at last there is also a prize distribution ceremony for the students who perform good in activities etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very good since it is a central government institution. Fees is good while keeping every student's financial condition. There is hostel facility also provided for the students and fees is good or one can say payable. Fees is infact returned to the students by the scholarship.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got the scholarship in my first year and second year also that was too helpful for my expenses in academics. I am not assured about the loan facility but there are various scholarship programs which I ne can avail oneself prooving his prowess.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are organised by the departments, student union and university. Laboratories are good but there is need to improve the facilities in labs. Ther is a huge ground for the sports and courts are also available. Ther is also a auditorium for extracurricular and cultural activities held on campus But there is need to aware the students for the participation in sports in large number. There is a central library also for the students. Departmental libraries are also available.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful while juniors are also enthusiastic about their assignments and various activities. Convocation is held for degree distribution and to give medals for meritorial students. There is also alumni meet held by the campus.
Admission
I had filled my online application for the entrance examination 2016 and cleared the post graduate entrance examination and following the counseling and document verification I was able to get the admission in University of Allahabad.
Faculty
As University of Allahabad is a prominent institution/university known as the IAS factory and Oxford of the eastern U.P. (India). Faculty is good in behaviour but run short in strength. Overall good and supportive faculty.
