Review for Nmam Insitute of technology

Our college is present in middle of a jungle that's only negative remark. There's no fun in an around. We have to travel 40 KM's to nearest cities. The positive thing about this is. It's peaceful ,no disturbances and an ideal place to come study and get a degree.

Course curriculum is really good. Especially for computer science. We have 2 internals and one end semester examinations. Minimum passing marks is 40/100. College also offers scope of makeup examinations and supplementary semesters if the above mention critirea fails. Also there's a strict 85% attendence rule.

Placements opportunity is really good in our college. Many companies like nutanix ,VMware ,Sony , Juniper Networks,Mscripts etc visit our college. Even college provided internship but there is no pay. We have to pay the fees for the internship.

There are tons of events in our college. Main one is a national level technical cultural fest named incridea.apart from that events related to sports,cultural,technical are also conducted throughout the year.

Students who get into through KCET fees is very cheap. Management students fees is high. For kcet students fees would be round INR 70000 per year. Same for management students would be 300000 INR.

I have availed epass scholarship. Which will provide inr 20000 per year.many other scholarship schemes are available for students with parents who served in army ,backward caste students etc. Also our college offers discount on fee based on pu marks

Lab infrastructure are first class. There's different labs for different subjects of computer science. Even for other branches the lab facilities are really good. The equipment in labs are well maintained by the caretakers. The lab assistants are really helpful.

There's an alumni association in our college. The seniors are really helpful. They guide us into getting the companies we want. The dos and don'ts.also there's initiatives taken up by senior students who got placed to conduct workshops and skills training needed to get placed by too companies.

I got admission through Karnataka common entrance test which is a a standard exam for getting seats in engineering colleges in Karnataka. Admission procedure involved submission of lot of documents for both the kea and the college.

Most of the college faculty are well trained. They guide the students really well in projects and also the academics. Lecturers also support the co curricular activities. Most of the lecturers are aware of the recent trends in technology.
