Positives of College- Very good faculties, well established Laboratories, a lot of opportunities for extra curricular activities and Sports is an important part of college. Negatives- attendance system is to be modified, Some books in library are very old, hostel doesn't provide Breakfast.

Course structure is perfect to know about technology and Engineering theories, exam structure test us on the basis of our theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge. There are Class test 1 and class test 2 held organised by college. End semester exam which commences in the month of May and December are organised by University.

Placements are good for non-core branches like Computer science, information technology, electronics and telecommunication engineering. There are very little companies organizing campus for Core Branches. 30-40 core branch students always get placed.

OJAS is an annual festival held in college every year in the month of February. This is a three day function where a huge number of competition and activities takes place. OJAS consists of Robotic Championship, Sports tournament, cultural activities, brain games, Computer Programming tasks etc.

Fee structure is feasible as compared to other parts of India. I got a total spending of approximately 3.5 lakh for the 4 years which includes hostel fee as well as college fee. Hostel fee is approximately 20000 per six months and college fee is approximately 28000 per semester. Exam application fee is to be submitted separately to University once the application window is opened by University.

According to performance in CGPET examination and class 12th examination, we get different scholarship from College and university, for each course 60 to 100 students are selected, out of which top 5 students get the fee waiver from College.

College has the facility of National Service scheme(NSS), National Cadet Corps(NCC) and a huge auditorium for Cultural activities like Dance, musical competition etc. Every year in the month of October-November college organises a sports tournament in sports complex within the college to identify the key players to be included in different teams of college. College has both indoor and outdoor Stadiums.

I stayed in hostel for all 4 years of my study. Hostel is situated inside of campus so it gets easy to access college library whenever necessary. College has two separate hostels and hostel wardens for Senior students and junior students(first year). Hostel has two playgrounds, one gymnasium, two meal Canteen for Lunch and dinner. All the rooms are provided with 24×7 wi-fi, electricity and water availability.

There is an alumni group Named as BIT alumni, where one can interact with all the alumni of college. College have all the records of senior students and successful senior alumni often comes to college to provide some career advises.

In chhattisgarh there is an entrance exam held in month of may every year by CGVYAPAM known as CGPET( Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test). After qualifying above examination we have to chose colleges and we get college and course according to our rank in PET exam. Students can also take admission through JEE advanced exam.

Faculties are very good in terms of experience as well as skills, all the faculties are well qualified some of them are postgraduate and some of them are PhD. They provide all the classes in easiest approach possible.
