Excellent college

The college is very good for student improvement, students will come to know about themselves. Students will learn self studying. The curriculum is also set accordingly as the students requirement for jobs and other competitive exams also.

The curriculum followed is choice based credit system, which means students can actually opt the subjects they want to study based on their interests and aims. This kind of curriculum is very much student friendly. The exam structure is similar to JNTU Kakinada college, 3 hours duration, 70 marks external and 30 marks are for internals i.e. mid exams.

The placement are huge this year, more than 1200 jobs offers came to the students. The bulk recruitments are from TCS, Wipro, Infosys. The salary packages are also more than 3.5 lakhs. There is no internships provided by the college for students.

There are many fest that will take place every year. In the odd semester, yanthralaya, vidyuthra and many other quiz competitions take place. During even semester, Annual fest named as Ekathra takes place. Many students from different colleges come and participate in these fests. All the events are conducted by students only.

The fee structure is a bit expensive, along with hostel fee the total figure is around 2 lakhs which more but for students who get less than 10000 rank will be given full fee reimbursement, So they need to pay only hostel fee that makes a total of 80000.

There is no scholarship provided to students, but the government gives scholarship of 35000/- rupee to backward castes and total fee reimbursement for merit students based on entrance exam. There is no loan facility also.

There excellent labs with sophisticated equipment and softwares available for students from morning 8am to 6pm. There is a gym for students with lots of equipment. There are separate grounds allocated for each sport with good maintenance.

The hostel infrastructure is good with comfort beds and good ventilation. The food is tasty and quality is also good, the surrounding climate is also nice with a lots of greenery spread. There is unlimited WiFi facility available in the hostel

The alumni are supportive and they visit the college once in year. The placements department of college takes care of the contacts of the Alumni and senior students are also interactive with juniors and are in reach if help is needed.

I have written Engineering and medical common entrance test and got 8000 rank. In the counseling process I submitted my certificates and got them verified. Then I gave my preferred college options which I want to opt in the given slot online. I gave my first preference to electronic and communication engineering and finally got seat in Gayatri Vidya Parishad college of engineering (A) which is a famous college in Vizag.

The faculty teaching are mostly Ph.D candidates with more than 5 years of experience and have sounding knowledge in their relative domains. The classes are interactive sessions, one can share his ideas with them and they help the students a lot to do innovative things.
