The college is good in every terms. And the College is trying to get Global accreditation which will just help to get more name of the college as well as it will also attract More companies om Global level for placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum is based on the needs of the Current market structure.since ICFAI is a deemed University it can change it's curriculum according to the needs of the market and Industry without much Fuss. The college has a semester exam structure with Class tests in between after every 10 sessions of lectures. Each class test marks,Class participation,project and end term marka are taken into consideration for Calculating final grade.
Placement Experience
Since i am in the first year of MBA i know what i have seem or heard from my seniors about the placements. Everyone is getting at least a package of 6 lacs. Even though the batch is Huge the college is not leaving any stones unturned to get best possible placements opportunities for the students. And for Internships,there are various companies coming around for Internships for Summer internship program for the First year students but most of them offering Sales and marketing profile. Many companies offer a good stipend too.
College Events
The college has various clubs which are managed by student themselves. Annual sports and Annual fest of college every year. Monthly events are also organised by the various clubs of the clubs. various inter college festivals are also organised where participants from different college participate in out college activities and festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee structure is little bit high as compared to other Residential MBA course. Our total fees structure including hostel and mess is ?174000 plus ?80000 the admission fees which is to be paid for securing your admission when you are granted the offer letter for admission.
Fees and Financial Aid
If the student secures more than 7 CGPA then scholarships are provided to them by the college in terms of waving the fees. College has tie ups with various financial companies and Banks for providing the loan to the students.
Campus Life
The college provides an excellent opportunity for extracurricular activities. Playground,swimming pool,tennis court,basketball court,indoor stadium for badminton,squash are available to the students. The IT labs are also equipped according to the needs for the students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provides a good infrastructure. Clean common washrooms are available for the students. Washing machine is available in the washrooms for the students. A chair,table and an Iron cot is available for in the room when the students are alloted the rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of the college are kept in touch by the Alumni relationship cell of the college which is managed by the students. They also organise an yearly event known as Nostalgia in which Alumni of the IBS are called. The college has an alumni base of more than 5000 students.
Admission
I appeared for the NMAT test. In which my score was above 160. This made me eligible for getting a call letter for GDPI from IBS.After GDPI a cumulative Score of X,XII and GDPI was calculated and percentile was alloted according to which Campus was alloted.
Faculty
The Faculty are well equipped with knowledge about their domain. They also are very helpful and give proper insights and counseling whenever approached by the students. Timings are alloted by every faculty to the students so that the students can go and have their doubts clear about subject and career related issues
