Remarks
Politics in college among students is main problem of this college. If you are good at anything or want to try something new than other seniors definitely try to demoralize you, leg pulling at bad level is main problem among student in this college and this is all due to the bad seniors of the college who are the first batch of this college otherwise the college is good and campus is definitely very good geenish in the lap of nature.
Course Curriculum Overview
REC Sonbhadra strictly follows the carriculumm of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam technical University, but according to me its outdated comparing to NITs However the university carriculum is revised every year.CS branch is only good branch in this college. Other branches are below the average
Placement Experience
Central palcement cell at AKTU( affiliated University). No campus placement in campus however the students are placed with their own merit in the companies like TCS,Wipro etc through National talent hunt AKTU also provide job fairs.Students also give exams for jobs ex. E-litmus AMCAT etc.
College Events
The college celebrates different events like 1) Udbhav ( Annual Fest) Feb 2) Sports Fest(November) 3) Engineer's day etc. Other events are also celebrated but above four are the main events of college
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee for all branches are same its 70k all fee including Hostel fee + Tution fee etc.Separately 15k per Semester for Mess.College fee fee structure is present in college website recsonbhadra.ac.in.You can find all details.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes college provide the scholar facility to the students who parents income is below 2 lakhs anually. They have to fill scholarship form and they get return back.This is given by Government of Uttar pradesh.
Campus Life
Yes facilties are available but plotics is all around only the well known chamchas get the opportunity and girls always get the opportunity. If you are self respect boy the your chances are very low.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good however the problem is water scarcity once in 2 months as the college is situated in the hilly area and water for college is fullfilled for distant water source due to which somtime water level goes down or sometime pumps get damaged or not properly works.
Alumni/Alumna
Its a newly established college therefore we don't have that much strong alumni network however we are ahead in the race comparing to the other Govt. colleges of this University( AKTU). Some students here are fraud alumni plz be careful.
Admission
Through UPSEE examination I have secured 12000 rank and I got this college in 5th round councilling in Computer Science.Upsee examination have same syllabus as that of JEE Main. The exam is conducted in the month of May in last week
Faculty
Faculties are highly educated.They try to cover the syllabus in their classes and give their best however there are few problem regarding the water scarcity due to which there are few days when no classes held
