Entrance Preview

BMS entrance examination held in 2013 by delhi university. Honestly speaking. I dont remember my marks. BMS is such a course in which we study about various fields in business management. we don't study just one subject For eg in B.com. The only focus in on commerce But in BMS. We study about commerce, Laws Operations Accounting Organizational behavior Etc.

Internships Opportunities

I've done a marketing internship at a firm called Regain . We had to promote a new estate project launched in greater noida known as "solitarian city". The stipend was ?500 per day.

Placement Experience

Placement cell of our college is highly active and they make sure that the students should get placed in great companies such as Genpact. The oberoi group. Etc.

We don't have a hostel in our college.

I don't know anything about loans and scholarships.

Everything about my college is amazing no matter where you come from. No matter what is your last name. Students with accept you as you are. Talking about the gender ratio. It's a co-ed college in which I guess there is an equal ratio of girls and guys. Sometimes I think girls are more in number which is good for the gender ratio. The debating society. The sports team. Everything is great. Talking about sports. Our college organizes a festival called" runbhoomi". It's a sports festival which encourages students from other colleges to take part and compete with each other.

Senior students Well. The best support you get in college when you're a fresher. They are your strongest pillar of support. Always there to help you out no matter what the problem is.

Our college faculty. Especially for our course..young faculty has been provided who can understand the students better Since the course was new. The faculty had to be student friendly.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. The percentage of students getting placements are around 8290%. My plans after getting this degree includes to do a post graduation in the fields of business only and then get

Placement Experience:

Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
