Great Experience

Everything is pretty good about the college and my friends and I have had a great experience here. All events that occur in an academic year are planned at the beginning of the year and doesn't change much. The only problem we've had was that they never give holidays for heavy rains and stuff even if there's a red alert. That has caused a lot of inconvenience when commuting to college.

It is pretty good and covers important topics. The first year covers the topics for all the streams and is common to everyone. This is done to ensure that you can change streams after first year if required Exams are conducted on an E-Pad which is pretty advanced and writing on it feels like writing on paper to an extent. There are 6 internals which include 4 assignments of 5 marks each and 2 sessionals of 15 marks and then an End semester exam of 50 marks.

As far as I know, our college offers excellent placements including companies like Microsoft and Wipro. They offer a good package. Students get the opportunity to do internships too along with a good stipend.

Techtatva- A fest where a long of competitions are organized with great prize amounts. There are many food stalls and games present too if you aren't interested in the competitions. Revels- It's MIT's annual cultural and sports event where so many performances are held along with sports competitions.

The fee structure is moderate I would feel when you compare it with other engineering colleges. It comes to around 15 lakhs for the entire course and is quite acceptable when you consider all the facilities you get in the college.

I have availed the SAGES scholarship for students of particular schools in the area. It is given to students who have a general rank of below 10k and the concession depends on the parent's income. It goes from 90% off to about 10% off.

The lab equipment is top notch when you talk about computers or physics or chemistry. It's ensured that we get the best facilities available. There are great facilities for sports as well including a gym as well as different courts for different sports.

The seniors are quite helpful and organize a lot of events for the benefit of the juniors. They conduct workshops to get us more in tune with engineering and get a better knowledge of the fields available.

Wrote an online entrance test called MUOET which is conducted all over India. I went for the first and second attempt and got selected through a separate category for locals called SAGES as I got rank 18 in that. They ask for your 12th marks card and Aadhar card and admission process went smoothly.

Faculty is well trained and experienced in their course. The college ensures that people who are fit for the job are selected. The faculty is ready to clarify doubts if any. They make the class as engaging as possible.
