Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chosen Computer science and Engineering. I love computers. I am not saying that everyone should become computer scientists, but I strongly believe that knowing how to code at a basic level is very important nowadays for almost all areas. It is great for learning logic, critical thinking and problem solving. Coding gives you the liberty to solve a lot of problems on your own laptop, including running simulations that years ago had to be conducted in gigantic computers. Modern computing is very powerful, and everyone should learn how to use it effectively. Same idea as previous item, people need to be able to write their ideas down. Nowadays, social media and email reduces the need for writing long essays/papers, but I still believe that being able to put your ideas to paper in a clear way is very important. Websites like quora and Wikipedia are great examples of user-generated contents that are better if clearly written and direct to the point.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was 2 lakhs for 2020 passed out batch in first year and it was 2 lakhs for the next three years and the hostel fee was 40k but now for the upcoming batches the fee has been raised. I think it is about 2.4lakhs for all the engineering branches and 80k for hostels.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's always better to get an educational loan sanctioned and be prepared for any eventuality. You are going to draw down on the loan only to the extent it is required by you and interest payable only on the amount you have utilised on the loan. It is only the upfront fees that you will incur on the loan amount sanctioned. Other than that it is only on the amount utilised on the loan that you are going to pay interest.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many activities are there like cricket, badminton, basketball. Basketball is very famous in my college. Getting involved with a club/organisation that’s related to your major or your field of study. This can help a lot with meeting people who are in your major who have common professional goals and build your network.Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and it makes you feel content. I have volunteered in a library to help elders with computers, I have helped build homes, clean up parks, etc. Many campuses have their own Habitat for Humanity charter or something similar.

Alumni/Alumna

This is very useful. I had attended many mock interviews. Good for you, for being aware that the alumni network can be of help to students (and other alumni). How you take advantage of it depends mostly on one thing. The answer to this will determine how best to access the network. For example, perhaps you are looking for part-time employment during the school year, or a summer internship or other career-related experience. Or maybe you're approaching graduation and want a full time, permanent position. Or you need advice for choosing a grad school, or moving overseas, etc.

Admission

I got admission through entrance exam. My cousin referred this college. I will get admission in any one of the universities by attending the entrance examination which was conducted by the university itself. If u get qualified in that u will be given a rank and a date for counselling according to that rank. And there will be another chance to get admission in Hindustan university that is u can also get the admission through our 12th standard marks. They had given me a slot. We have to go on that day. We have to choose our branch. Then they will accept our stream.

They will think i am able to do something. They given applications to develop on that. One teacher guided in my main project. As someone who has a fair amount of experience teaching at University as an associate professor, I seem to get along well with both Indian and Chinese students, though myself I'm an American. I may be generalising culturally, but I find Indian students usually are studious, hard working, humble, friendly, and warm. Also, they don't complain much, which is welcome because depending on the class, there are some Americans who complain about everything, and they tend to run in packs. I guess if you want to stereotype people, it's better if its a good one.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.
