The college is fairly good and gives a lot of freedom to the students. One can have a memorable experience if they have studied in BMS!! All teaching faculties are co-operative and encouraging. Kudos to BMS!
Entrance Preview
CET Karnataka, Rank: 1729AIEEE, Rank: 2346I opted for BMS because it was/is one of the prestigious colleges in Bengaluru. I chose Electronics because it was one of the most sought after courses. And the placement options are wider for an electronic student.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college was affiliated to Visvesvaraya technological university. The curriculum was fairly good. But most of the subjects we studied are hardly being applied in our work place. Coming to the faculty, they were quite experienced and we did get a good learning if not best.
Internships Opportunities
I did not get an opportunity for an internship. There were may companies which visited for placement purposes. I did get selected in two companies. There companies which came for internships were mostly looking for computer students.

College Events
Utsav. On of the biggest college fest in the entire Karnataka. It is an Annual Inter-Collegiate Techno-Cultural fest. This fest attracts students from different prestigious colleges and participation at a huge number.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The seat I got was a government seat which means a subsided one. I used to pay 17K INR every year. For the final year it was around 20K. So, it was a feasible one for me.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took an education loan for my studies from SBI at an interest rate of 13.75%. I took a loan of 1 lakh and cleared after an year or so once I started working.
Campus Life
The campus life was the most enthralling one. There were many technical fests along with an annual college fest called Utsav. Apart from these fests, there were many demos, lectures, and workshops organised frequently.
Hostel Facilities
I stayed with my parents. So never had the opportunity to stay in PG or hostel. The college was at a walkable distance from my home. Never had any problems with respect to stay and food.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of BMS is quite strong. I have registered through online. But hardly have been part of it due to high work pressure. But I am in touch few of my seniors and get to know what they are up to.
Exam Structure
It was quite chilled out. We used to have three unit tests per subject. The average of the three tests would be considered for the final score. We had 8 units per subject. The final exam had 8 questions out of which we were supposed to answer 5. There wer
