I have took Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and scored 17305 rank and opted for mechanical engineering as it was the good option at this rank under general category.

The course was according to the Vishweshwarayya Technical University and and full course consists of 4 years divided into 8 semesters. Each semester consisting of the 3 internals conducted by college and the lab internals too. The final external semester exams consists of theory and practical exams.

We a group had one of our internship at HAL Aerospace Division,Bangalore but we are not offered with any stipend there and no companies have visited our college to offer a internship but college supports students for internship.

Placements are not so good and usually less number of companies come to college and the highest package offered by Bosch is 4 LPA and around 350 people have been placed in both core and non core companies Companies like Tech Mahindra (3LPA),TCS (2.5LPA),TVS(2LPA),HP(3LPA), and other have come.

College organises college fest every year consisting of all cultural and co-curricular activities,Sports day is conducted,Oxford premier league is conducted and football matches are conducted. Beside these there are Technical fest's conducted by different departments.

The fees for students joining through KCET have the fees as per the government norms and have to pay building fund fees also which is very less when compared to other colleges and these are to paid yearly. And for students coming through management quota have a fees around 4-7 Lac depending upon the department opted. The overall fees structure is feasible.

College does not provide any kind of scholarship or loan facilities but you can apply for other scholarship through college like Government Scholarship,IOCL Scholarship.

College campus is the best thing about this college consisting of two playgrounds,canteen where we used to chill. Every department have their own type of activities it may be either fresher's party,fare well party,fest's,sports,competitions. Gender ratio is absolutely fine in all departments but never expect in mechanical branches. This college is a bit posh one with people having good economic status.

Hostel is good with spacious rooms and have to shared by maximum 4 people. Girls hostel is good when compared to boys hostel with good security. The food is good but uprising the mark. Hostel provide all basis facilities like 24*7 water.

Yes college have a alumni association and the association has been started recently and the alumni odd this college have good networks and people work for very good MNCs but we never had any integration with them as it was started recently but college used to organise alumni association meets periodically and we had decent seniors who are introduced to us through fresher's party and Raging is strictly prohibited in our college.

Exams are scheduled very perfectly according to the VTU externals and they are chilled. The internals are conducted monthly once and labs internals are conducted once per semester. The management takes exams very seriously and conducts then in a fair mann

Faculty is good and all are experienced lectures but we have only few lectures who actually help student in their academics,Projects,Technical fest's and other co-curricular activities.
