Our college Mission and Vision also reveas the positives of the college. The Mission of our college is "To nurture the enquiring mind to be liberated by truth, empowered by knowledge, committed to service and communal harmony, championing the cause of women and the marginalized and to create a sustainable environment" and the vision is "To be a centre of excellence and a catalyst in facilitating a holistic development of youth with international standards, edified with the sanctity of truth, equipped to serve, grounded on Christian ideals." Our college is a excellent unique one, its also welcome the all students by showing a motto card, that shows ' The Campus is a venue for Self Discovery '.

Kerala University also follows the Semester system for the UG programs and these 6 semesters (3 year Course) are not enough for the completion of the Course Curriculum. The students are not getting time for better studying and doing the other extra curriculum activities.

Our college offers only the non-technical programs, because its an arts and science college. So, Placement and job opportunities also varying to the courses or the field of study. Our college doesn't provide any internship programs.

Our college officials and the management are also give support to the College union and the students to conduct and participate in all the university events. The college students union conducts more than 25 programs in an academic year. That all programs also have different aims and Goals. The college department also conducted the various lectures, seminar, quiz programs, debate competition, writing competitions etc.

Fee structure is also feasible, because the college following the kerala university fee structure. That comparatively cheap and also the university provides the fee concession and the scholarship to the economically backward students and academically top students. The Management quota admissions fees structure is expensive, because its about 1 lakh. The fees also varied to the departments.

The college offers many scholarship and cash awarded to academically bright students and also the college conducted the program 'Star of Moore Award Program ' to find the topmost student of our college. The Various departments of our college also provides the cash award to the academically top students.

Extra curricular activities are also have very importance or they got better consideration in our college rather than the other colleges in the Alappuzha district. Our college also have the national sports champions and college teams also got the university championships in several events.

The College Hostel is also allowed to female students. Only the women hostel and the hostel for sports quota students are under the college. The facilities and the hostel infrastructure are also good.

Our college also have the alumni association and all outgoing students are members of the Alumni Association. The alumni network and the senior students are also give support and other helps to the various programs takesplaces in our college and they are also friendly behavior to the students.

All candidates who wish to apply for UG Programmes (irrespective of Category) should strictly register online via Kerala university official website. After the registration, the university will publish the merit list based on the index Marks of the candidate. There were three or more allotment list were published and the remained seats were filled by conducting the Spot admission.

The college offers 6 undergraduate courses in science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology and Biotechnology). In Humanities it offers courses in Economics and Commerce. BA courses in English and Malayalam are also offered. College offers MSc in Physics,Chemistry and Botany and MA in English. All the departments are academically very good and also top in the university's other programd or activities. Every year, there are 20 + rankholders passed out from our college.
