If you want to pursue Bcom, take admission in this college without considering any other college, you will never regret. The college is legendary and also affiliated to the Iconic Calcutta University.

The whole bcom course is divied in 3 parts 1+1+1 each part's duration is 1 year, the college conducts mid term exam in mid of the academic year and at the end of the year we needed to appear for the finals. The college is affiliated to Calcutta University and the college follows the university syllabus.

The college doesn't provide any internship. Although there is not much jobs available for graduates but still the college managed to bring some well known companies including TCS for college recruitment. Selected students used to get package upto 1.9 p.a.

Many events are celebrated in the college. Freshers party for the new students. Farewell for the graduating students. Teachers day for the faculty. Saraswati puja. Iftar party during Ramadan. Rabindra Jayanti etc.

Since it is government college so the fees are cheaper. Students dont have to pay high amount of fees, the college charges fees in 3 parts occuring in each year. I competed my graduation at Rs. 12700. In first year i paid Rs.3800. In second year Rs. 4400. In third year i paid Rs. 4500.

The college doesn't provide any scholarship from its own, but there are scholarship available for the students from State Government as well as Central Government and the college provide all the required assistance during the scholarship procedure.

Apart from classes, Gym, Common room are available in our college. The college also focuses on extracurricular activities, the college annually organise Sports day, in which willing students participate ,many different sports are played on that day, say Cricket, footbal, chess etc. The college also participate in other sport events organised by other colleges.

This facility isn't available in our college. The college doesn't have any hostel of its own. But in the area where the college is situated, many hostels are available at affordable price. Starting from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 6000 per month.

The senior students were also polite at our time, we approached them many times for help regarding college assignment and projects. Each and every time they helped us.

After getting my 12th result i filled the college admissions application through the college website. After 3 weeks they published the merit result. After finding my name in the merit list i downloaded the admission form from the wesite, then went to the college for verification of documents and then i paid the required admission fees.

The best part of this college was the faculty. They were the gems of this college. Each and every faculty member were polite as well as helpful. They were very attentive while taking any class and they used to make sure that every students were efficiently catching the lecture.
