Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum (for CS) is pretty in depth and advanced. Also, it is being changed from this year onwards. All the unnecessary subjects like Physics-II, workshop and engineering drawing are removed. Subjects which hold importance in today's tech world like Machine Learning, Java, Compiler Design are added. Other important subjects includes: Data Structures, Algorithm, OS, Computer Networks, DBMS, Distributed Systems. Exams Structure is pretty much the same as other colleges. There are 8 semesters. Each semester has 1 mid-sem and 1 end-sem.
Placement Experience
There are plenty of placements & internship opportunities. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who look after these things throughout the year. They even stay back after summer. All their hard work is paid off as we have >90% placement. Also, our college is visited by most top companies. The average pay of interns is 50k and for placements is 14LPA(only CS and IT). Companies start visiting our college right after summer break. With 2 companies every day.

Admission
I got admission through a central government scheme called DASA(Direct Admission of Students Abroad). Students who have completed 10th and 12th class from outside India and meet some terms and conditions are eligible to apply. Students are required to give SAT Subject Test in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Based on scores a rank list is created and colleges are allotted based on that. There are limited seats in each college. MNNIT had around 25 seats at my time. Normal DASA fee is 4000 USD. Also, under DASA there is another scheme named CIWG(Children of Indian Workers in Gulf) for students who have their either parents working in Gulf countries. According to that, 15% DASA fee should be reserved for CIWG and fee should be ?62500. That of course is given based rank list. My combined SAT score was 2370/2400 and I was specifically looking for CS branch. Fortunately I got admission in MNNIT CS branch under CIWG. PS: many rules have changes please look at DASA website for current rules and seat matrix of each college
Faculty
Faculty are very experienced and have a variety of expertise. The only thing is, you should be asking the right questions. Also, you should study the subject regularly as there can be surprise tests.
