Review of Sir Chhotu ram institute of engineering and technology

As my college has brilliant infrastructure and very good faculty. It is located in meerut uttar pradesh which is not expensive city. But there is a bad part of college there is no placement faculty this is biggest issue

As I am from Electronic and communication engineering department there is a vast scope of ece.faculty of the college was good enough to teach us about new technology. Exam is based on uptu pattern.there are 2 semester in an academic year. B.tech is a four year course so you have to appear in 8 semester.

As it is a self finance college that is attached with Chaudhary Charan Singh University there is no placement faculty and there is no placement at all. In terms of placement this college is useless. And There is no internship program.

There are a lot of events that celebrated in college.annual fest name is convergence.it is held every year in month of march. Convergence is celebrated at a very good level.there is annual sports week and a technical battle techvera.

When I joined the college fees of my course was 80000.which is feasible. it is a self finance institute affiliated with uptu and up government offer scholarship to students. So we can say that it is not that expensive.

Uptu government offer scholarship to students of all catagory. But according to their income certificate. Scholarship for general and obc catagory is approximately 64000rs and for sc , st is 94000 rs.

There are extracurricular activities like nptel , and many more technical courses for each branch. Many companies came to provide workshops. Labs are good in condition. There is annual sport week in university.

Yes I opted for hostel. There are 5 hostel for boys and 2 hostel for girls. R.k hostel, new boys hostel, pt. deen dayal hostel , btech hostel are the hostels for boys. And New girls hostel , Durga Bhabhi Hostel are reserved for girls. Infrastructure of all the hostel is good.

Our alumni is very good and they are in good position in their fields. All the senior students are very helpful to juniors. In this coll there is no raging acceptable. All students live there in a very healthy atmosphere.

First I was appeared in uptu exam. This college was allowed through councelling conducted by uptu after getting college we have to contact to our college at a given date we go there and fill admission form and pay our fees.

In electronics and communication engineering department there were enough teachers. All of our faculty members are highly educated.Our head of department Mr. V.K.Ram sir has excellent knowledge in VLSI And VHDL.
