Remarks

MILE is a student driven college which portrays the mini corporate world and make students learn business ethics and rules.

Entrance Preview

I had appeared for CMAT in 2015 and scored 83.12%. I opted for this particular college because it was recommended by my mentor and i attended a session by founder of our college, Dr. Sameer Kapoor and i got impressed through it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is best as practical knowledge is emphasized and faculty of our college is same of SIBM.

Internships Opportunities

I interned in Sweetsinbox.com with Rs. 5,000 as stipend plus commission for 3 months. I was working in the customer satisfaction department where the customer grievances are handled.

Placement Experience

Placements of our college is wonderful. Average package offered is 6 lakh. the major placement companies that come for recruitment in our college are: Ziffi.com, Firstsource, eClerx, HP, Amazon.com etc.

College Events

Around 6000 footballer was there in Purple Fest in 2014. Purple Fever is a national level fest conducted by the students of MILE.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is bit expensive as course fee is Rs, 558000 plus the food and hostel expenses is 90000 per year. Apart from this personal and dress expenses are charged.

Fees and Financial Aid

Good scholarship is provided to students on same laid down procedure. loan facility is provided to students facing financial problems as we have a direct link with Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Campus Life

We stay on campus for more than 12 hours. Every activity is done by respective committees comprised of few students. MILE is a student running college in which every student works for the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities and mess food. Girls are provided with BHK with 5 girls in a flat. Boys hostel is good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

In MILE, students share a very good bond with seniors as well as with alumnus. We are always guided and advised by our senior and frequent alumni interactive sessions are done.

Exam Structure

70 Marks in written exam and 30 marks for internals. The questions are not direct. Case based questions are asked. Application based questions are asked in the examination. for internals class participation, and assignments are the base.

Faculty

The faculty is highly educated and experienced who has worked in corporate world first and then into education sector.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I didn't applied for any other college as I was suggested this college by my sibling who earlier studied through this college and got a nice placement from the campus only. I'm from a non-management background so I had a 2-step interview process which is only one step for management background students (Graduation). At first, I was asked questions about my graduation along with management questions which went for 40 minutes of rigorous question answers. In second, they completely focused on management questions, went deep into specific topics. It was rather a discussion type instead of a question-answer type in a way where they asked questions and waited for my answers, corrected me every time I went wrong to have a clear idea about anything I'm talking about.
