Central University of Karnataka

College is super in overall. It is a university in budding stage. It will get to be wonderful in near future. The social life of students are little less compared to other lively colleges. But students have 100% freedom.

In school of engineering we follow fractal syllabus of IIT Hyderabad. So the syllabus and course outline is very advanced and best we can get in India. The students feel it as of high standards and appreciate the same.

Campus Placements are very less in Central University of Karnataka, but students gets placed through pool placements. The Student placement cell is established but still has to improve and develop a lot. We are expecting to have more no: of placement opportunities soon.

We celebrate all national important days throughout the year. Some of the important ones are independence day, republic day, constitution day, ambedkar jayanti etc. Apart from these IEEE Student branch of CUK conducts more than 50+ events each year.

Fee structure is very less compared to other colleges in India. It's nearly free for financially background students. Other students also gets concession based on cast and gender etc. The students also gets freeships etc.

University offer freeships to students who come top at the end of each year. The students in top 5% gets full refund of their fees which they pay. Other scholarships are available to financially background students also.

Labs are very good and very advanced compared to other colleges near by. But needs to have more labs soon. Ground for sports is very small and needs a lot of improvement. We still don't have a proper ground for any of the sports or games.

Hostel infastructure is far better than other colleges all over india.but few more hostels are required to accommodate all the students of University. The mess food is very poor but the hostel and mess fees is just around 10000 per semester.

There has not been many alumni networks yet as the University is new. But we are expecting these things to happen in future. but we have an alumni organization and all and also have unofficial meet ups.

One should clear CUCET entrance test( Central University Common Entrance Test) to get into Central Universities. Student should give their preferred courses during Registration for exam itself. The list will be prepared for each course at each University. Student can go for counseling According to their wish to any college or course in which they have topped in the list.

Faculties are good in most of the schools of Central University of Karnataka. In school of Engineering we have faculties from IIT Hyderabad taking classes for students. The permanent faculties in CUK are from different IITs and IISc.
