Course Curriculum Overview
As college comes under Uttar Pradesh Technical University (aktu Lucknow), so it follows the guidelines of the university. The exams are also conducted by the university. The exams are extremely fair. The different center is allotted to conduct the exam. The question paper comes from University just 20 min before the exams. Some teachers are good but some did not know about their subjects. But overall the knowledge provided is good. Many students are placed through the college. TCS office lko was visited by us in our third year. Workshops and labs are well equipped.
Placement Experience
TCS, byjus, Wipro, Mahindra, cedcoss and many more companies visited last year and more than 60% of students from my batch were placed. Students much secure at least 60%(75% for byjus) to sit for placement. There were three rounds in the placement process, 1)written 2)technical interview 3) HR interview. In writing there is an online test of aptitude reasoning and English. Each round has a cutoff decided by the company. Yes, the college prepares the student for placement. In the third year there were classes held every Saturday and Sunday for recruitment preparation.

Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure changes every year. As in my first year, it was 72000, for the second 75000 and for the last two years it was 76700. You can pay cash in college and can take a receipt. You can pay in a bank by downloading the form from the website of the college. Net banking is also available for fee payment. There is no extra charge after submitting the fee and no late fee charge. One can submit the fee in installments if the director of the college allows. You have to provide a valid reason.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the university offers scholarship program for the students whose family income is less than 2 lacs are the resident of Uttar Pradesh. Minimum 60000 for general and 75000 for SC/St. The students have to apply for it in the month of September on the Uttar Pradesh government site. All the documents should be valid and fair or one can be fined if illegal means is used. The scholarship is credited in the month of March or April.
Campus Life
Gender ratio depends on the branch in the mechanical branch there are 5 girls on 60 boys whereas in the computer science and electronics branch there are 40-50 girls on 90-100 boys. There are fresher's and farewell parties held every year. Teachers' day party is celebrated in the hostel. Diwali party Holi party and every festival is celebrated before leaving to home. There is a good workshop for mechanical fully equipped. Labs for each branch are provided with lab assistant. There is nothing like cast and religion in the college. Everyone is a family member and always help to each other. Cafeteria remains open till 11pm and many groups spend a good time there. There are societies in the college like SUKET that work for poor children. Debates quizzes are held on a regular basis and winners are awareded.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good for 1st and 2nd year. There are 4 members in every room. The room consists of a bed, table chair, cupboard, fan for each student. The rooms are good and well maintained. There are 2 water coolers in each floor. The hostel has a total 3 floors with a mess and a common hall and tv room. The food in the mess is average. Four times a day food is provided breakfast lunch evening snacks and dinner. The menu is different each day. In a hostel, you can play table tennis, volleyball, basketball. Diwali, Holi, Janmashtami programs are held in the hostel every year even eid iftaar party. A TV is provided for Ipl and other matches.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no alumni network in this college. This is the main drawback of this college. No network of senior and Junior and no ragging takes place.
Admission
To get into this college an entrance test is to be given. UPSEE is the name of the exam. After the result, the counseling process starts in which there is a cutoff for each college. You can get this college if you got at least 65% of marks. I chose this college because it is semi-government and due to which fee is less as compared to private colleges coming under the same entrance exam. Since there were only three government colleges and for that your marks should be good in the entrance exam. The second choice after government colleges was this one as it is a semi government college.
Faculty
Most of the faculty of the college have done M- tech. Only a few had completed their Ph.D.,the professor holding Ph.D. are extremely good but most of the assistant professors with M-tech as qualification is average. 20% of the faculty are between 50 and 60, 50% lie between 35 to 50 and the rest are below 35. In my batch, only one professor with Ph.D. had some Industrial experience.
