Remarks
There is actually no negative remarks against the university. The only problem is with food. They are providing good academic structure and all. All the laboratory and practicals are constructed in a highly professional manner.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which i study is shipping related. After completing eee we can go for electo technical officer course which inturn is Sailing. The university is following Anna University curriculum. It's a standard acadamics actually.
Placement Experience
As of placement the placement tracks are very good in amet University.college does not provide any internships. But they send students to other companies and institutions for doing internships. The overall experience is good.
College Events
There are various events organised in our university like sports meet , anual cultureral fest etc. They used to conduct several conference like international conference and exhibition and faculty development program throughout year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is affordable to a middle class family.they used to give concession to students who excel in studies and sports. The fees structure actually varies according to the course students study inthe university.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university offers various scholarships and loan facility to financially backward students and parents. They are availed through marks and cgpa availed in the end semester examination.loans are available through banks.
Campus Life
Laboratory and sports are actually integraal part of the curriculum itself. During the first year of all courses drill is a must period. Laboratory is made compulsory during the entire 4 years of the engineering career
Hostel Facilities
Actually there are 6 and more hostel in the university campus.they are providing good food and accommodation. Infrastructure and all is vary good. There is a problem of frequent power failure in the university.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni associations are great helpful in the university because they provide us with guidence and scopes for students. The alumini network in amet University is very strong.they used to conduct annual meetings also.
Admission
I got admission through righting entrence exam. I got passed in the exam so they called for a interview in the university itself. After 2 weeks they called me and asked to join at the earliest.so that I joined the university.
Faculty
All the faculty working in the college is well experienced faculty members. I think all of them is a PhD holders. They are trying their level best efforts and helping the students to achieve their goals.
