Good college for career

There ward also some points where my college was behind the other educational institutes. They do not provide freedom of arrival and departure from college, there was fix time for which you have to stay in the college. Also so they were very strict in collecting fees on time and from forwarding on portal at the time of examination. But the overall experience of my college life is really very good and I personally recommend everyone to join my college.

Our college provides various fields of Engineering to study of about 7-8 courses from which I had selected and appeared from Mechanical Engineering. The whole course of 4 year systematically organised to provide best knowledge from the beginning to a student as per AICTE terms. Our college provides Degree certificate of graduation RGPV University, Bhopal. Exams are held on regular basis, it consists total 8 semesters 4 year degree. Assessments are done various times in each semester with many assignments in practicals. Every semester there are 2 college level internal exams with 1 mid semester exam then final semester exam i.e. total 4 exams for semester which the assessment of a student very accurately.

college provides placements in companies like JBM, Maruti, Amazon, Flipkart, HP, and Ford, Honda, Eicher and many more. Students who scored Min. 6.5 CGPA were eligible for placements. The placement rate is also very high and good as I also got placed in 3 companies itself with more than 4 LPA package. The salary offered for freshers is 4-5 LPA. Every year, lots of companies visit our college for placements.

There were many interesting and knowledgeable events organised in our college as follows: 1.Tech-Fest- Many sports and entertainment events are held in which outside students can also participate. 2. Workshop fest- 3.Technical Seminars- Provides technical knowledge with information of a particular topic. 4.Expert seminars- Provides additional knowledge about a perticular field. 5.Dance competition. 6.Judo competition. 7.Motivational seminars- Keeps students motivated towards their goals. And many more other events are organised to help the overall development of a student along with the studies and knowledge.

Fees structure is normal than other colleges i.e. 50-60k per year. Its really very much affordable to a middle class family to gain best knowledge of technical field from very talented and experienced faculties. Also the students with merit certificate in some field and sports certificate are admitted approx. half fees then others. They also provides Scholarship schemes with best decrement in fee as per gov. rules.

Various Loan and scholarship facilities are there. Education loan from different banks are there for children of Farmers, Army men, Gov. employes etc. Those who come from drought region and many more organizations are also there to help student.

A mind-blowing Tech-Fest is also conducted every year with lots of technical and sports events are organised in which student from other colleges can also take part and enjoy together. Also in a fixed interval, technical workshops are organised to provide the practical and working knowledge to students.

There are two hostel in our college. One inside the college campus which is for 3rd & 4th year student, interns and pg students. And anotherone is outside the college campus which is allocated to 1st and 2nd year students. Fees structure of both the hostels is approx. same with Rs.20-25000 per year which is also normal then the other colleges' hostels. But to be frank Iam telling you that you will not get good food facilities in hostels due to lake of supervision and resources.

The seniors of our college are really very helpful as like elder brothers. And if you are a hostelite then and there is an additional advantage to you as unity of your elder brother's inform of seniors who helps us in every aspect of our college career with any problem related to to college friends study along with the personal problems of home or financial condition. So many seniors created and aluminium network which helps students offer college for their startups and for placing them into their organisations.

I got admitted in the August of 2013 by appearing in PET test (Pre Engineering Test) with 120/200 marks. Afterwards 2 month online counselling held in which 3-4 rounds of counselling are completed. I got my highest prefrence college as Oriental institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal (M.P.) with Mechanical Engineering from the list of colleges which I already uploaded in counselling in very 1st round. when I visited college within 5 days and submitted my all required documents and first semester fees to confirm my admission and that's the overall procedure I was gone through during my admission in college.

The Facilities over here are really very talented, supportive, motivating and friendly. They don't pressurise us and also helps us in every aspect either its about notes for exams or any of your personal problems too. They are very frank and well qualified. Many are from IITs and other good colleges.
