Remarks

SASTRA college is good for people who study IT related branches and it will be tough for other branch students to get placed in interested branches but it will be possible if we study hard.It encourages all co-curricular activities and encourage to participate in other college events to show up our skills

Course Curriculum Overview

Subjects are really good but not so practical.There are 3 mid exams and semester exam.50 per marks will be scored from best of 2 in midexams and 50 per will be scored from semester exam.Lab exams will be there 50per marks will be awarded by our overall performance in weekly labs and 50 per marks from semester lab exam

Placement Experience

Maximum IT companies come to our college only some core companies come to respective branches and take less number of students and all branch students get placed in IT companies.They conduct exams regarding internship and if we qualify in that exam the provide stipend to us.

They are namely three important events in SASTRA university.1)COLLOSEUM sports fest.Number of colleges from various districts in Tamil Nadu participate in this sports fest.2)DAKSH technical fest 3)KURUKSASTRA events and co-curricular fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible 1st year-55,000 and for every next year 5percent increase in the fee from the previous year.Mess fee will be paid monthly and hostel fee should be paid at starting it Wii be in the range of 10,000-24,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Based on CGPA they provide 16,000rs to the first 400 students in all years and there is also deans merit list if you have above 9cgpa and the give extra money including 16,000rs.Loan facility will be given by city Union Bank and Indian bank which have branches in our college

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities are good and they conduct many events to show up our skills and prizes are given to them if they perform well.labs are good and equipments are well conditioned.Regarding sports we have feura inter college fest and colleseum intra college fest we can participate and show up our skills

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is not so good and it is average. The food is also average we should adjust to that environment.Facilities vary from hostel to hostel based on the hostel you choose but overall it is ok and adjustable

Senior students are friendly with us and help us in any situation and explain doubts when we go to them.Alumni students come and interact with us and encourage us by giving some tips regarding how to get placements in companies

There are 2 ways to get admission in this college 1)round 1(70 per seats will be allocated based on this criteria and the rank will be provided on the score of jee mains and +1,+2board examination) 2) round 2 (30 per seats will be allocated on this criteria and the rank will be provided on completely on +1,+2 score)

Faculty is good and friendly with the students and explain doubts whenever we go to them.No discrimination between local and non local students. They encourage to do projects research works whoever are interested and explain in detail about the projects and doubts

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Yaahh I had appyfor other colleaes also like lpu ,vit, EAMCET.. reason is why iam not joined in that college is to 1.in lpu I got seat alsoo but that college is soo waast and for me it will be more distance.2.in vit i didn't get cse so I rejected it .in EAMCET i am not interested I got below 20k rank but...not went to that .
