Remarks
The college is good overall for a student like me who doesn't care much about the studies. But for a student that is passionate for it, who wants to get a good job, who wants to learn (me). I don't think that this college is for that person.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses that my college offers are mainly focused on business studies courses. The only course that deals with science is BCA (bachelor of computer application). The general structure of the exams are pretty straight forward, you have 2 internal exams for each semester and then at the end of each semester is the semester exam (final exam). The the marks obtained in the internal exams are compressed and then added to the final exam.
Placement Experience
So every year there are companies that visit the college for placements. The college actually takes a lot of effort for the success of the placement, they start a sperate training course v for students interested for placements, they give various trainings. They help the students to build up their resumes.
College Events
There is nothing much fancy celebrated in the college. Most of the celebrations comprises of social events like a day celebrated for a particular language. All the major national festivals are celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible compared to other colleges but, one thing in mind is that the college infrastructure is very old, so as a student because of that it seems that the fee would have been expensive if the infrastructure was new.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students who get more that 90% in their PUC get rs5000 as scholarship. And the students who get more that 95% get rs10000 is scholarship. There are also scholarships for the students who belong to a lower community.
Campus Life
There are extracurricular activities available. Everything is managed my the senior students and the faculty. So that it self is a extracurricular activity for the senior students. Also for the extracurricular activities there are marks alloted for the students (ie.,CCEC marks). As far a labs go there are a couple of labs for chemistry and physics and there are 3 labs for computer students.
Admission
I go to the college and ask for the course that I'd like to opt for. If the course is available then I get an application form to fill up. I'm required to show my previous marks sheet as a proof that I have passed my previous studies. I need to pay the fee, I can either pay it half yearly or the complete fee at a time. After I get the fee receipt, I get a form my library card/ID card.
Faculty
I don't know about the faculty of the students of other courses. But for me my teachers are terrible at teaching (except the language teachers), but also one thing in mind that the faculties change every semester. I'm still in the first semester so I'd hope to get a good faculty for the next semester.
