One of the best institutions in TamilNadu with great facilities and infrastructure.Placements are 95% sure in this University. No issues with the transportation facilities. The institution is Not so strict and Hostel is good.The college is located in Trichy to Thanjore highway.There are lot of hotels and Shops outside college. Course Curriculum Overview
There will be a 2 semester for an year. 3 CIA tests will be conducted per semester.The marks will be calculated for 40.And 10 marks for assignments. Best of 2 in 3 CIA tests will be taken.then it will be converted to 100.There will be a grade system. Highest is S grade and the lowest is F.

TOP rated TCS,Accenture,WIPRO,Tech Mahendra,BOSCH,Ashok Leyland,RANE will hire 80% of students for their company every year.In 2012 TCS hired 1700+ students from the University in 2 days and seal their name in LIMCA book of records.
College Events
There are Lot of events will be celebrated every year. The event “Daksh” a technical festival will be conducted every year.Above 25+ institutions will be participated and get rewarded. “Colosseum “ a Sports festival will be conducted Every year. Over 30+ institutions will be participated. “Fuere” an Intra sports festival for Sastra students will be conducted every year.”Kuruk SASTRA” a 3 days Cultural fest will be celebrated in a grand manner every year.40+ institutions will be participated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasible.Comparing it’s infrastructure, the fees are feasible. Semester fees will be paid for every semester. Semester exam fees is an additional one. Exam fees is Rs130 per paper.

One of the good thing in the University is they Accept and support the loan for poor students who can’t able to pay their fees.Indian overseas bank is located in the campus itself.Scholarships are given for the Dean listers and Who all are doing projects in abroad.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are less and not effective when it’s compared with other TOP institutions.The University Focus more in academics than other things.Still Collosuem ,Daksh ,FUERA ,Kuruk Sastra etc events conducts every year.One of the best Football and tennis court are available in the campus.Hydrolic Gym facilities is available. Labs are in good condition and lab assistants will be available in office times.
Hostel Facilities
There are so many hostels in the campus. Both Men and Women’s hostel is in different location with in the campus.Rooms are ok.Only Vegetarian foods will be served for the hostellers.Special Hostel for the 1st year students.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes.They are very helpful.When I am planned to join in this University after diploma ,My seniors suggested a lot in choosing course.Alumni network is not so strong.But every year they are arranging for a meet and few Alumnis are participating in that event.
Admission
I have completed DECE in Shanmuga Polytechnic college which is In same campus.I secured 80% overall marks and got admission through Internal counselling. For those completed 12th and applied for the institution, merit list will be prepared and counselling will be conducted.JEE marks is an additional advantage.Local trichy and Thanjore quota is available (5%). 1060+ Marks can get course as they want.
Faculty
Faculty is another good thing in the University.Most of the Faculties are seniors and Completed Doctorate in their Level.Other than that Assistant and Associate professors are there to teach students in a best manner.The University helps professors those who wants to persue their PG and doctorate.
