Good for placement

Pros: Teachers are helpful. Placement is the best when compared to the private colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Cons: GLA focusses mainly on theory, You will be involved in getting good grades. To try something other than academics, you will have to get out of your comfort zone. Preparation for placement is overrated.

It has a good course curriculum. The whole semester is divided into 3 parts i.e. 1st midterm, 2nd midterm and then finals. The course is structured similar to NIT and covers all the subjects asked in the gate and there is some subject also taught which are in the current demand in the IT sector.

I am currently pursuing B.Tech in computer science in this college. I am in the final year and I got placed in TCS. About 230 students got placed in Accenture while 11 students got placed in Microsoft, and about 7 students got placed in Midlife.

I am Btech CS branch and the following is the course fee for the B-Tech course (currently). CS, EC, EE, ME, Civil, Automobile Engineering first year Rs 1,53,000, Second Year Rs 1,56,000, Third Year Rs 1,59,000, Four Year Rs 1,62,000. It is not very expensive when compared to other private colleges and one pay this if he/she belongs to the middle class easily.

A meritorious scholarship is offered to all deserving students who fulfill the eligibility criteria. Students having good scores in intermediate as well as competitive exams like JEE-Mains can avail this facility. Apart from this students who are economically weak are eligible to avail scholarship through the Social Welfare Department of UP Government.

When it comes to extracurricular activities GLA has a plethora of them to offer for the overall development of the students. Be it sports or different clubs where students can hone their skills, GLA has it all. With excellent coaches and mentors, learning is always fun. Round the year various sports and cultural activities adds an star to the campus life. Apart from all this GLA University has a total of 157 well equipped labs where the students can expand their horizon and come up with flying colors.

Alumni network and senior students are helpful as it is bidirectional communication if someone needs the help they have to approach the senior to get solution for his/her problem and college has a strong alumni network. They are many senior placed in good MNC TCS, Wipro, Globalogic, and many more.

I got admission through the online entrance exam (GLAET) which is held at different locations all over the country(India) and after clearing the test you get the confirmation for qualifying the test which is followed by some document verification at the campus then you get the chance to study in GLA. The next way to get admission to have a decent score in Jee Mains then also you can get admission and they are also given scholarships if someone has a good score in Jee Mains.

The faculty was very good.All the teaching staff is well educated. Most of them are PhDs or pursuing it. Each and every faculty member is specialized in his/her subject and has full knowledge of it.
