My college Review

Hostels are not given to all the candidates over here. This is one of the biggest drawback of NIT Raipur. Hostel is only given to those candidates who topped the exams. It is purely on the CPI basis with appropriate reservation. This is one of the biggest drawback rest facilities are good but it can be improved.

The curriculum of NIT Raipur is very much in accordance to the industry 4.0 I.e with respect to the vision of 2020. Recently there has been drastic change in the syllabus and curriculum which goes hand to hand with the industry 4.0. Exam now happens in 2 parts mid sem and end sem.

Placements and internship opportunities are a lot very good in NIT Raipur for the non core branches. In CSE and IT placement opportunities are a very nice recently the average package is around 12 lakh for CSE. And for other core branches like electrical mechanical placements in are are good but not as much as IT and CSE.

NIT Raipur can be called as Institute to organise a lots of first all over the year in my counting a raw data came few months back there are about 158 events in 365 days in the college. The major events are E submit by E cell. Avartan by the Technocacy; Eclectika by the Cultural committee ; Samar the sports fest by the Saurya and many more.

Fee structure of the college is in accordance to the The Laws of the government that it is set by the central government of India. The fees for the general category is appropriate and also the fees for their respective reservation reservation categories are appropriate there is no issue with the fees issue but the facilities according to the fees can be called a little bit less compared to other colleges.

There is no particular type of a scholarship given by the institute that is the college does not give any type of scholarship to any type of any form. But it encourages scholarship from other resources like other government agency or any other Private agency. It organisers exam conducted by other private Agencies on which it can provide scholarship but the college does not give any type of scholarship in any form.

NIT Raipur encourages extra curricular activities in every possible ways. There are lots of facilities of playing also. The playing ground and other equipments are not sufficient but the teacher are enthusiastic and helpful and the students here also manage to have a great interaction and playing. The labs are old but have appropriate instrument for sufficient Research and study material.

The almini network of our college is very strong and it is very beneficial for us.The seniors are very good and are very helpful to us. The seniors treat to you as if they are your own brother and sisters. The seniors are always ready to help you in every situation from daily notes to personal issues seniors are always there to help you.

I Got admission through Jee Main. Jee mains is one of the most famous exams of engineering in India. Then after getting ranks you are to go through counselling process to get admitted. You need to get marks according to which you can choose the branch.

Though the college lacks permanent faculty but has much temporary faculty which are qualified and young and motivated enough to teach. The senior faculties are alloted to the senior students while in the 1st and 2nd yr you are given under temporary faculty pursuing phd from same college or etc. All together it is not a matter of concern.
