My College Review

Every thing has positive and negative faces. So, this college has also some positive faces and negative faces. Positive face is that, this college has very good surrounding, very nicely behaviour from all staffs as well as teachers, good atmosphere for study, discipline oriented classes etc. Negative face is that, this college has bad online facilities like erroneous form fillups in every semesters, not update college profile timely, failure in verifying academic credentials timely etc.

There is campus placement happening in the college throughout the year. All current 3rd year and pass out students are being invited to sit in the concerned placement and many of them got selected in the said placement and provided Job.

NCC Events, Basketball Competition, Cricket tournament, Chess tournament, Annual Day Function, Freshers Party by the Students Union, Sports Day, Teachers Day Celebration, Children's Day Celebration, Republic Day Celebration, Independence Day Celebration, Picnic Party by Students Union in share basis.

Feasible because of Government operated College. There are many funds provided to the college for proper functioning of the concerned systems of the college. Due to these funds there is less burden or say no burden or minor payment of fees. This is the biggest merit to students studying in this college.

Till date I had not received or availed any kind of loan facility. But i had availed a scholarship provided to me by my Jharkhand Govt. for higher studies which i get cleared from this college for scholarship's further documentation procedure.

There are many different laboratories in the college such as Chemistry lab, Software lab, Hardware lab, computer lab, library etc which is very neat and clean and in good condition. And also for Students refreshment, there are Students Union Room which is popularly known as Common Room in the college i.e., one for boys and one for girls. And also there is one Gym in the college fully equipped with good gym machines and equipments.

I have not opted for hostel because i have been shifted to some other place (Tollygunge) in Kolkata because of my relatives living there. I usually take metro everyday to reach college and also come back home from metro only beacause of easiness in traveling from metro route. So, i don't find any problem in reaching college till date.

Yes, I personally met many alumni and senior students of my college when i was new to the college. They helped me in various activities and documentation procedure of the college when I don't know a lot about this. Also I got special help from the Students Union members when my Father's name was wrongly entered in the college register. They cleared this in very short span of time and helped me a lot.

I got admission on the basis of my 12th class CBSE board result. Firstly, I filled up the online credentials at college website for getting my name in the merit list along with the relevant academic credentials. Then I found my name in the merit list at the college website. Then college has called all the selected students one day for physical verification of their documents which is submitted at the time of online application with the requisite fees. And lastly, I passed the physical verification procedure and finally got admitted in the college.

There are very good and best faculties available in the college of different kinds of specialisation and also from very good background. In college, there are also some teachers of different states which gives their best effort in teaching us.
