Remarks

College management is/was one man show. And every decision making emanates from a single person director of the college which is/was biggest irony and cause of debacle of CIMP.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was very good in first year but in 2nd year it was revised because college couldn't continue relation with IIM A for faculty exchange.

Internships Opportunities

I have completed my internship in gujarat cooperative milk federation (Amul) . It was marketing research project focussed on 'Amul Lite' market segment analysis in comparison to Nutralite.

Placement Experience

Almost 10 companies came in to campus but most of them come up with very low package rs. 2-6 lakh pa. Almost 100 percent student got the placement but satisfactory placement was not even 1 percent.

College Events

Few small functions were organised on various occasions but not any rememberable.

Fees and Financial Aid

No any scholarship but Loan was available with comparatively easier processing.

Campus Life

Campus life was vibrating, we get to study and roam 24hr anywhere in the campus, gender ratio was 60:40 to male and female. In terms of sports there was no any facility available in the campus. college strength was very loss its 60 students batch so no any competition had been organised.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and mess food was satisfactory rate was included in fee structure at that time.The room was twin shared basis separate for girls and boys and common mess.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The college couldn't develop a good Alumni network even after 5 batches passed out. There was no any communication or facility initiated from college side to strengthen it.

A faculties one is IIM A and other is CIMP. Admission process was rigorous and comprised of GD and Interview by faculty if IIM A.

"Happy MBA days at Cimage centre of digital technology"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the MBA course in Cimage centre of digital technology for its focus on practical skills like leadership and strategic thinking, which I wanted to develop. It prepares me well for real world jobs with case studies and projects. I suggest adding more detail tools and industry trends to the curriculum. Exam 2 semester per year, well spaced but challenging some questions are tricky. Overall it's a solid course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses were harvard style case methodologies mostly, which could have been better with more practical exercises and examples. Simulation exercises were also their but not that effective. Teaching methods were ppt based.

Life at IIM BG

Placement Experience:

The median package is around 16L, and the average is around 14.5. 1st year students have to sit for the Summer Internship Process compulsorily, and in 2nd-year Final placements take place. The campus has recruiters from top companies for both processes and an excellent track record of 100%. I plan to impact society by making this a better place to live through informed decisions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want a career in this and the faculty is too good. They always co-operate with us. They also took care of us. The professors are too good they took classes regularly and honestly speaking teachers are soo good they never frustrate us no matter how many times we will ask the same questions.

Remarks:

1. Being from bihar, i preferred IIM Bodhgaya over other IIMs seat offered to me.2. RoI - Tution fee is less as compared to other IIMs and median salary is high.3. The institute was in its early years (just 5 years old) so would get to learn a lot and maybe implement new things in there just like a start up.

Placement Experience:

Students start to get offers from the start of the second year. The regular visiting companies are ITC, HUL, Airtel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC AMC, HDFC Ltd., BFIL, Prism Jhonson Cement, Uttkarsh Small Finance Bank, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, TATA Advanced Systems, COMFED, JEEVIKA, TATA Power DDL etc. The average placement varies from 7-8 LPA every year. and has a record of 100 % placement since inception. I would be pursuing a job in finance sector after completion.

CIMP Review

As far I have not found any bad aspects of the college and goods are the Placement, Mentoring, Dedication in imparting management talent etc. The admission process is as follows : 1 - Application form filling wherein only CMAT, XAT & CAT scores are accepted. 2 - After applying with a valid score card, you get a call for GD, PI & WAT process if the score is above the cutoff. 3 - After completing the above process, we have to wait for the final result where a seat is offered with subject to completion of required documents/records etc. The reason to prefer this college was its previous record, active support of the government, placements etc. After comparing it with the colleges in metro cities I found it on par with them which has a hold on its quality education. It is a Premium B School where the faculties are all from top institutes like IIMs, FMS, IRMA, IITs etc. Previous batches of the colleges have been working in a reputed organization in various industries....Read More
