Remarks

Blitzkreig is the biggest media festival arranged by us! It's gonna happen in current month. 22 Nd and 23rd and apart from this there is inter collegiate fest namely kiran where different courses become continents and fight.

Course Curriculum Overview

Have to say the course is pretty amazing and faculties like manjula mam, Sudha mam are making it more pretty. Curriculum is also a vivid one.no doubt of one has to do mass media in Mumbai there's no other good college.

Internships Opportunities

Currently I got internship with SoL productions, which are currently working with show, family Fortunes on big magic. General stipend offered is 4k

Placement Experience

Currently, I don't know about it. Coz I am still in my first year, but have heard a lot about it in a positive manner from seniors.

Common exam structure. Nothing new. 75 written ime external and 25 oral I.e internal consisting of presentations and projects.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Sorry, No hostel or mess over here.our college doesn't have any accommodation facilities. Mess is like a small canteen which offers over 250 items. Pretty expensive it is

Nopes. I don't know about it. Anyways one can find about that in the course prospectus about it. as much i Know HSNC board always provide scholarships.

Campus Life

Numerous social and internal extra curricular activities. Sports completions like football are regularly conducted. We won the recent football inter college tournament. Ratio of girls to boys is approx. 6:4.Yes girls are more in mass media.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini! Jitendra and many movie stars are part of wall of fame(wall with star alumini names). Ambani family too was a part of KCSeniors are helping too.

Exam Structure

Feasible. Current fee for first year media course (BMM) is Rs.18,446/- I found the fee structure to be pretty feasible. And yes just like other colleges there is subsidies for different classes like oc, St etc.

Faculty

Very good management of things. KC is one of the best media college one could ever find. Till now I haven't found any kind of flaws. Very nice campus and the management (HSNC) board is also a well known board of management. so can't expect wrong from them

College for students who wanna Hustle

Course Curriculum Overview:

the timings are great for students who wanna work while studying, but that only starts in the SY because in FY there are lectures from 10 to 1, that will give youll time to enjoy as a student, where as in SY n TY lectures will be from 7 to 9

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

I chose this course because I want to be in the film industry. I want to become an actor. This course helps us to get aware of all the media industries. Be it films or television or even radio. Now, there are even more fields such as Public Relations and Event Management. There is an almost equal number of girls and boys. The faculty have industry experience and are well-spoken. They help us in each and every way possible. The use of presentations and modules is common. The learning process is fun and easy. The examinations are conducted in a semester pattern. There are a total of 6 semesters that are conducted on time. The syllabus covers a wide range of topics such as communication, films, photography, etc.

Placement Experience:

Form third year students become eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies like times of India hindustan times visited our college and got various students selected based on their caliber. The average package here is a around 5-10 Lakh per annum. Only those students who are talented enough for any post get selected for particular job. KJ Somaiya College is a very huge college and has a perfect system of everything. Proud to be a student of this college. They have extra curricular activities cultural forum fests and much more. They also have outdoor Games, athlete ground, hostels, 7 to 8 canteens. The teaching system is quite good they have compulsory 75% of attendance.
