Life at IIITA

Placement here are very good.Academics are becoming hectic with each passing year but still a good college.Small campus but plenty of greenery.Anyone who has interest in coding must take iiita undoubtedly.

Course curriculum is becoming hectic.Continous evaluation system has been implementated in the college.We have to give 3 exams per semester.Along with that quizs and tutorials classes are regurarly held.

Placements opportunities are very good over here.Placement season begins here in july and a lot companies visit the college therafter.Yes ,college provide internship but don't have much idea about stipend it is offering.

Main college events are as follows. Effervescence - Cultural Festival which is held in October. Asmita - Sports Festival which is held in February. Aparoksha - Techinal Festival which is held in March.

Fees is around 75- 80 k per semester inclusive of hostel and mess fees. It is normal when compared with the others college around India.Fees breakup is as around 60-65 k for tution fees and hostel fees and 15k for mess per semester.

Merit scholarship is aviled by few students here which is of 36000. For that you have to score atleast 8.5 CGPA in last two semesters and have annual family income less than 5 lacs.Peronally ,i have not availed any scholarship in the college.

Labs are very good in the college.Each student is allocated with the computer system.Also final year student can avail the labs 24x7.Sports also here are decent.Have a swimming pool,basket ball court, football ground and cricket ground.

Hostel are good over here.Facilies provided geyser,room, table ,bed,chair. Also include badminton court in each hostel premises.Also we have canteen at hostels which opens at 4 pm in evening and is open till 4 am in the morning.

Alummi network is very strong of Iiit allahabad.Senior students are very helpful.Coding Culture is preserved here by the seniors.They take coding classes apart from the academics of college.So yaa a good environment is present over here.

First cleared the Jee mains with good marks and 12th class percentage.Cumulative marks of jee mains and 12th class were taken into account with weithage of 60 % and 40 % respectively.Then on basis of that score and through josaa counseling,college were allocated in the rounds.

There are good.Some of them are very educated they promote research and innovation.They will guide you whenever in doubt.Also helps you in the activities and issues you are facing in the college or in campus.
