The management is quite strict as far as discipline is concerned and even the slightest of misbehavior could get you an HR or a CR.

JEE Mains Paper 2, I scored a 263 and the reason i Chose NIT Nagpur is for its strategic location, a very old and experienced faculty and not very pricely for the course.

The course curriculum has a balance of Design and Technology being an NIT.We get to learn subjects like Design, Climatology, Construction, Materials, Structures, Mechanics, Visual Arts, CAD etc.

For B.tech Courses companies like Bosch, Groffers and Morgan Stanley come and pick up students for internships offering about a 10k a month as stipend.

Excellent.The training and placement cell of the college takes good care for the placements of the student. With companies like LnT, Infosys, Groffers, Jindal, Wipro etc coming for campus drives, getting a job wouldn't be difficult.

AXIS: Central India's Biggest Technical Fest which sees a huge foot fall and has had the privilege of getting inaugurated by Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.Aarohi: The college's cultural festival which sees performers and participants from the colleges in and around Nagpur. Constortium:The college's Management Festival.

Feasible enough as its a govt. College.As a 2013 entrant, i pay a 21000 Rs Per semester which is Increased by one and a half times for the junior batches. The Hostel Fee accounts to a 43000 Per year including food.

A loads of scholarships and loans are available it being an NIT. Mostly the financially weeker students apply for Scholar loans from SBI or take up the Alumni Grant.

We have a lot of fun here in between Studies. We party around the pubs beside the campus. We have a lake right across the street making it a scenic spot to hangout with friends.M-F ratio is not that good (Its an NIT duhh !)But yes in departments like architecture chemical and comp. sci. the MF ration is close to one.We have a lot of clubs which function round the year with great zeal and enthusiasm. We have Departmental and institutional gatherings too.

Excellent Hostel with shared rooms for first and second years and singe rooms for third and fourth years.really good food too.

VNIT has a very strong Aumni network spread across the globe with an office within the campus. They have certain scholarships and internships to offer to the students.

We have sessionals every month and then the end sems. Not too hectic as we get a 3 month long Summer break and a one month long winter break.

The Faculty is brilliant, most of them being VNIT alumnus themselves have a sense of responsibility and immense knowledge of the Subjects. For Design we have 4 hour long studios where the faculties attend each an every one of us individually and guide us
