A college life

Positive is that the teachers are friendly. All the students are quite friendly. Administration does make you wait at times but only if you have dews to be paid. No mercy on the miscreants and tries to make a better environment for the students.

Course was for 4 year. Each year we had 2 semesters. Every semester there were 2 practical exams and 6 theory subjects until the last year where the subjects were reduced to 3 in the final semester. We had projects starting from the 5th semester. Ragarding exams we had 3 internals where best of two are taken. Final semester exams were conducted regularly.

We were provided an Internship by the college but it was more of work on your own. The job opportunities are provided but most of them are off campus or a pool campus.HR can get the people placed in their records.

We do celebrate the various events including fest. On a regular basis college do Conducts seminars, fests, and other stuffs. Festivals are celebrated in a colourful way. Biryani is the all time favourite of the students in any event.

Fee structure was feasible for me as I had been admitted through the kcet quota. But on other entries may be management or other source it may be little above feasible but still less compared to big colleges. Depends on the people financial conditions.

I far as I have attended the college the college do provide scholarship for underprivileged students belonging to sc or St caste as directed by the govt. Also minority scholarship are provided by the state govt.

Not so good sports facilities, just a basketball court and a small ground common for the students. Labs are descent and have computers. Other activities are also being developed in the college related to new technologies.

Seniors are lifeline for any new chap in the college. They act as the guide to the college as they tell you everything in and out of the college. But they are really supportive. Let it be exams or any other situation.

I wrote Karnataka cet after my 12th class exams. The exam center was in bangalore. Got pretty descent rank in the exam and my preference was computer science. Once the counselling started I got the Hkbk college in my first round and took it. For the admission I had to carry the print out of various forms and report the college on a given date. Paid the money by demand draft and filled the forms.

Faculty of the college are a blend of young and experienced lot. The main teaching is done on notes. Concepts are explained by the teachers, but most of the faculty are there just to make comfortable.
