My College

Overall it's a good college. Only thing is placements is a big issue. Moreover the students are given priority based on the course but not on the best interest they are having. And it's a major drawback.

The course structure is good but it should involve more practical things. The exams are like you have 2 mid exams and assignments and one end semester exam for each semester. The mid exams are being evaluated by the concerned faculty only. Final exam papers may be evaluated by College faculty or sometimes other College faculty also.

College will provide internships to students before 7th semester but not in the college. The College uses some references to provide internships to students outside. Most of the interns don't get any stipend unless if they are being pre placed in some huge IT company it's like they won't be attending the College in the 4th year. But the case is very rare. Less than 1% will get that oppurtunity. Placements are good but mostly software only. Few people get placed in core companies but with less packages.

Every year cultural fest, technical fest and sports fest are held in the college. These are held mostly in the second half of the academic year. Cultural fest is for 3 days. Technical fest is for 2 days. And sports fest is also for 2 days. Students who come to participate in sports fest are provided with food and accommodation in college premises.

The fee structure is expensive but compared to other colleges it is feasible but the hostel fee is very high almost equal to college fee. There are no additional fee collected from students. The exam fee is also less I guess.

For sc and st students there is full reimbursement. And students who got seat in convenor quota also gets some scholarship of 35 thousand rupees every year. Apart from them no one will get the scholarship

There are many clubs based on your interests like dance, music, arts, etc. There is a separate block for sports for students to play various games like table tennis, badminton, basketball, chess, carroms, pool game.

The hostel infrastructure is good they recently moved into new building with good infrastructure and spacious place. The hostel hostel rating I give is 4 out of 5 only one thing is it having strict rules. And the fee is expensive.

There is an alumni group of our college and the college conducts an alumni day every year in the month of December. The senior students can be in touch with the college through this group and they come to college.

Through EAMCET exam and the councilling process takes around one month. Like you have to first qualify the EAMCET exam which is conducted in the month of May every year. After the result declaration you will be notified on what day you have to get verified your documents. After verification you will be able to keep options of your choice like the college and course you want to study based on your rank you will be alloted a college and course based on your options.

The faculty are talented and friendly towards students. They are available to the students in case if the students are having any doubts regarding subject. Moreover faculty also give you guidance in your projects.
