Remarks
the college is very strict about the attendance criteria, discipline and ragging. placement is comparatively good if we compare with other colleges of the University. infrastructure and exposure is also better if we compare it with the other colleges of the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
according to the latest curriculum, syllabus for the first two students is same for every branch and then from the next years there are specified pattern. every year is divided into 2 semesters, there are three internal exams in a semester and one University exam.
Placement Experience
the average placement is about 3 to 4 lacs per annum, students from CSE and IT branch get placements very easily. there are less opportunities of placement for other branches. the college is not provide any internship.
College Events
there is no fest organised. sports events organised in the odd semester. other events are freshers party, Holi celebration and farewell. no other big event is organised by the college. there are many small events organised by either any department or any Society of the college. in the first semester the students of the first year are not allowed to participate in any of them. AKTU also organises many events throughout the year which are sometimes hosted in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fee for a BTech student is around 1.2 lacs to 1.3 lacs per year which is expensive as compared to other colleges. but there are different options of scholarships provided by the government. the University has also provision of fee waiver for unprivileged students.
Fees and Financial Aid
University has a provision of fee waiver for underprivileged students who have family income of less than 6 lakh. also the state government also provide scholarship to students of the University who are eligible for the same.
Campus Life
a lot of labs have been set up for the CS and IT department for practical and advanced learning. other branches also have sufficient labs with proper facilities. there is proper sports environment where the students can play various sports like football badminton cricket basketball volleyball table tennis etc. also there are gyms in the hostels along with the libraries.
Hostel Facilities
the infrastructure of the hostel is good but the food quality isn't acceptable. talking about the girls hostel they have very strict timings for outings. the cleanling of the washrooms are not done quite often.
Alumni/Alumna
senior students are very helpful, but the interaction between seniors and juniors is very less because of the strictness of the college. two students who are part of different societies get to work and learn from the seniors.
Admission
firstly there was an entrance exam UPSEE after that online counselling procedure was done. they were several rounds in which we have to choose our preferred colleges and then after every round allotted the deserving college according to our ranks. after that we need to visit the college which we opted from the given choices in the counselling procedure and confirm admission.
Faculty
the facilities are well educated and dedicated. specially the first year faculties work very hard for the students. I being the Student of the IT department have found the faculties to be very supportive and helpful.
