Remarks

College was governed by NDUAT academic Council. The teachers and students were involved in power politics. They made the atmosphere stifling.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum was good but guest faculty was not good, permanent faculty was experienced and good. But power politics between them prevailed. Agricultural processing and Rural Industries faculties were not good by nature and most of them involved in power politics. Farm Machinery and Power Engineering faculties were good by heart and also talented.

Placement Experience

2

Generally, many of us placed in irrigation companies like Jain Irrigation, some are in tractor companies like Rate etc. Some are in banks and govt jobs.

College Events

2

Engineers day was celebrated every year. National festivals like independence day and republic day celebrated. Farmer's fair was organised every year. Annual sports and cultural festivals were also organised. A farmer's fair students were given duties and they interact with other departments also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was feasible. 25000 per year was the tuition fee. Apart from this 5000 rupee was hostel fee for a semester. Around 1300 was mess expenditure per month. B.tech college name was Mahamaya College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology. There was no additional fee for securing admission to the course. Now there are Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science stream apart from Agricultural Engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for an education loan. Government scholarship was provided to SC and ST students at that time. Later it was. For economically poor background also.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life was not good. The gender ratio was the worst. Mostly, there were boys from rural areas.labs was gradually establishing. The environment was lethal due to different types of politics. No religious discrimination there. Some were bi- sexual but others were straight.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostal facilities were average. Though they maintain some cleanliness.Generator facility for the common room till 11 pm in the night. Food was a little tasty but not good for health. In the final year, a separate room was provided for final year students. Water supply was good and timely when the college moved to Ambedkarnagar.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is weak because all the pass out students don't want to come in contact with each other. Our was pilot batch so there were no seniors for us.

Admission

It was the best possible option I did have that time. I got a seat there. The college was new but the faculty was experienced and college was the government. Later, infrastructure has also become better. Some teachers were really good. Farm Machinery and Power Engineering faculties were really good in their nature.

Faculty

3

There are near about 20 lecturers for us. Guest faculties were not good, permanent faculties were good but power politics prevailed between them. Farm Machinery and Power Engineering faculties were talented and good by heart. Agriculture Processing and Rural Industries faculties were involved in power politics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
