In my views,its the best college.I don't find anything wrong about college. Here we get 24hrs library facility. No Ragging. And most important, a clean 1300 acres campus. We get free wifi facility throughout the day.
Course Curriculum Overview
From last year , University has brought some changes in course. Last year there were 150 questions like before. But number of mathematics questions were significantly more than the previous years.Out of 150, candidate have to attempt 125 questions. First 100 questions are for all,later 50 questions consist of 25 of hindi and 25 of English language. Candidate have option to choose between them, which one he/she wants to attempt. All questions are multiple choice questions. For every right answer, candidate will get +3 marks, -1 for every wrong answer and 0 for unattempted questions.
Placement Experience
In case of bachelor of arts students , those who opt for economics honors and french honors ,they get the chance of campus placements. If we talk about other faculties of college there are much more chances of placements like IIT Bhu, faculty of agriculture science, IMS, Bhu.
College Events
College/University celebrate many events and functions throughout the year. Not only with the purpose of entertainment but for overall development of students. Some of them are Kashiyatra,North east fest. Most famous one is Kashiyatra. It is organised by IIT Bhu every year. Around 60000+ colleges exclusive of our college get chance to participate here and expose their talent like singing, dancing, modelling at a better plateform.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In case of bachelor of arts , bachelor of science fee is easily feasible. During 1st semester candidate pay around 2000? and in second semester we have to pay only around 325?. Other faculties like IIT ,IMS are quite expensive but when we compare them with other prominent institute of country they are not much expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
As i am from uttat Pradesh and my family income is much less, i have opted for state scholarship program. Inspite of this any student can opt for central level scholarship program calles NSP(National scholarship program).
Campus Life
If you talk about extracurricular activities you will get everything. Labs, sports, library, swimming pool,ncc,etc. Sports including hockey, football, basketball, cricket, swimming, volleyball and many more.
Alumni/Alumna
In my university, there is a good bond between juniors and seniors. Seniors are always helpful. And if you talk about alumi of institutions ,they visit the institution regularly. University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and phd courses in my faculty,in this way we have more senior students and they are always helpful.
Admission
I just applied for this college in January last year. Entrance exam was conducted by University in may. There were 5 centres in each state. Candidate can choose either pen/paper method or online exam.I chose pen/paper method. Results were announced in june and i scored sufficient to get counseling call. In july i went for counseling. And luckily i got chance to get a seat there. My subjects are Philosophy (hons.) ,Hindi, English.
Faculty
Faculty of college is exactly like what i expected before getting admitting here. Currently University is ranked 3rd among all Universities of india after IIS Bangalore and JNU Delhi, and ranked under 750 among world University rankings. Most important thing is that in last years there have been development in rankings. Here we get facility of good library, which is a plus point too. Professors are well educated.
