Entrance Preview
RPET and I took ECE coz I have an interest in Electronics and I like to code. There's no interview process, just casually approach the admission dept. and you can get the forms and the formalities done.
Course Curriculum Overview
No focus on research, just usual university syllabus. but its totally on the sutdent, how he performs in the exams and his/her catching ability. The college doesn't offer much but you have to get going and do things up to get your work done also the principal of the college keeps on changing every year.
Internships Opportunities
Yeah, there is a so called scholarship in our college but its for SC, ST and EBC students only, so dont make your hopes high.
Placement Experience
Placements, as I told earlier, the whole game is of the talent. coz placements are quite low and also the placed students are not earning much and the companies which came are from Jodhpur only and they doesn't offer much. The main game is to apply for Open campus and also applying to the companies directly.
College Events
Recently, We celebrated Science Carnival. Many different schools took part in it and also there were different activities for the students so that they can enjoy as well as learn the upcoming trend. Before that, there was a Top coder exam for the students to excel and also to enhance their knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite high as price set by the RTU is normal but our college adds up this and that fees in the structure and charge us for the facilities we didn't had a chance of using. Recently, there was an increase in the fees without any priors from RTU.
Fees and Financial Aid
No schloarship or loan is offered by the college. Just the scholarship i mentioned earlier for SC, ST and EBC.
Campus Life
The girls to boys ratio is so bad. There is just 9 girls in a class of 70 or 80. There are students from Manipal, Assam, Shillong, Delhi, but basically, majority of the students are from Jodhpur or nearby village. Sports are okish. But yeah, college do organize the workshops and sports fest.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are quite normal. not much hype nor to low. and the seats are ok. Hostel rooms are ok, but the mess is just messed up. No taste in food, pests in the food. The worst 2 years of my life in that mess. I actually lost 5 KG of my weight in the first 2 m
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors in my contacts are quite helpful and also pain taking. but that is because I got to know them in the hostel. Otherwise no one gives a damn about the juniors.
Exam Structure
Labs and exams are quite ok, I guess. We find our self with few time alone to do our work, also run some errands. but in the time of exams, its all hectic coz the exam structure is quite stupid. We have to study for 2 subjects at a time, as 2 exams takes
Faculty
Some of the faculties are just qualified to a certain level, also dont have much knowledge of any subject for that matter. But few are really masters in their field. So, approaching them is quite easy as most students dont bother to study. Faculties are q
