Remarks
Overall my experience in this college is too good. The only problem I face is with the Hostel food. So except this all is ok.
Course Curriculum Overview
From class 11 I was aware of this college as a good college nearby me. After getting admission in this college I felt like that it is really good. The exams are conducted according to the rule of Burdwan University i.e semester system. And I am totally confirmed that it will make my career and the future better.
Placement Experience
This is a government college for bachelor and masters degree. So like other so many government colleges, they do not provide any placement after this course. As I am new in this college I don't know exactly but maybe they arrange placement for students but I am not sure about it.
College Events
Though it's a government college unlike other government colleges my college arrange so many events in different occasion, maybe it's on cultural, science exhibition, college fest or other events by the cultural committee or by the students union. Approx 90% of students participate in each of the events and I am also one among them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As a government college, all the students do not face any fee problem at all. Only at the time of admission, they take a big amount but after that only hostel and library charge, we have to pay. They take the fees via online payment. Except this, there is no additional charge we have to pay. Maybe they provide transparency in the fee breakdown but I am not aware of it.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, the college does not give any scholarship directly. But every one of us gets a scholarship from the government each year and for that, we need to verify and sign the scholarship form from the principal sir. The eligibility to get the scholarship is 80% marks in HS standard. The scholarship amount is 2000 rupees per month.
Campus Life
It is quate college but the girl ratio is bigger than that of the boys. The campus life is perfect for a student to lead a happy college life I think. Each year the college organise GC(General championship) for all the students of the college. Besides there are all the lab, sports facilities available all the time.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very very good. All the rooms are well furnished. Also, the electricity management and drinking water availability are very good. The only problem is with the hostel food which is too bad. We have to stay with two students together in each hostel room. So it is quite good.
Alumni/Alumna
At the first day of my college through the senior had taken my interview or ragging whatever. But after that now we are like that we are all in the same class. The seniors are also very very helpful in study purposes or any other.
Admission
From childhood my only and only favourite subject was chemistry. So I decided to take honours on this subject. Also, the college reputation and disciplines are too good. That's why I opt for this course and the college through online counselling according to HS marks.
Faculty
The college routine is decided like a normal college. We have three classes per day i.e two is for honours course and one is for general or passes the course. All the teachers in our chemistry teachers are so good. I think they are also eligible to taught masters and higher classes. Yes, obviously the lectures hold so many relevant industry experiences.
