Remarks

Positive remark will be that College focuses on quality education and pay attention to that. Negative remark will be it lacks facilities and other things in various fields apart from studies. They need to work on extra curricular.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

One thing i realised about VTU course curriculum is that it's not upto the mark. It's outdated and feels old. Topics which are covered are sometimes no longer needed anymore in the industry. The course feels so repetitive and adds no value sometimes. About the exam structure it's simple. There will be three internal assessment tests happening Which will contribute to 20 marks out of the total of 100. And rest 80 marks will be contributed from the external semester exams.

Placement Experience

4

No College does not provide intership. But overall placement department is very active and have a good record in the placements. Companies coming to the college are good in number with average and above average and good offers. Placement department takes care of all types of students and make them work accordingly. They conduct in college training from 3rd year and 4th year for placements.

College Events

3

The evnets happens weekly department wise. Apart from that there are seminars happening from the industry professionals. Sports activities. Sports day is conducted. Then there is an annual fest called cultura. Overall experience is decent. Not much to be expected. All the different festivals are also celebrated with grace.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure for the non Karnataka students is exhaustive. I feel it's lil expensive. As compared to the students who are from Karnataka. The difference is huge. Fee is around 1,95,000 per year for us.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of now i never got any scholarships from college. But there are scholarship for the minorities and students acording certain good marks. College provides their own scholarship in sports and all also. Overall there is option for good scholarships. I dont have much idea because i Never availed one.

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are very good and well equipped. It's the one thing I'm proud of. Sports activities are decent. We have gym also. Other than that College lacks facilities for arts, dance and etc. We have different clubs for theatre, dance, music but they lack physical facilities from the college and funds

Hostel Facilities

3

I opted for the hostel in the first year. The facility was not so good so i dropped out of the hostel in second year and started living in pg accommodation nearby to college. Hostel food was bad but overall one can live there it was not so bad. I had different issues so i left.

Alumni/Alumna

Im not a part of any alumini network. Because I'm not aware of any. I dont know if there is some dedicated network like that. But you can always count on seniors for help. Seniors from our college are out there in some good industry working which can be helpful.

Admission

I have ComdeK entrance exam which happens every year for all the students seeking admission in Karnataka state engineering colleges. I secured a decent rank and then i went through offline counseling procedure which happened in Bangalore only. Then i got a seat in ECE branch in CMRIT college and since then my engineering journey started.

Faculty

5

Faculty is good. Teachers are willing to learn and also to teach new things apart from the course. Teachers are helpful too. They will help in mini projects, major projects publishing papers etc activities. Teachers are well qualified too. Overall experience is good apart from the course Everything is good
