Remarks

It is an overall nice experience for a middle class student aiming for professional education in a fee constrained position. But if fee is not a constraint for you, i suggest to go for a better college in infrastructure and research facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is changed after every two years. For example, R-15 R-17 and presently R-19 is being followed in the college. The exam structure is good and is sufficient for analysing the progress of a student in the academics.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good in the college. Several big MNCs like TCS, Matlab, Accenture, IBM etc recruit students from almost all the branches. The overall number of students placed in various companies is good. But the college doesn't provide any opportunities for an internship in a company. This needs to be improved.

College Events

4

The college celebrates annual day and sports day as it's main events. There are different departmental fests organised by the student organisations of the respective departments. Besides these, events related to NSS and NCC are also conducted for the overall development of students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very flexible and feasible as well. It can be afforded even by a middle class student. Several scholarships provided by the government and the college reduce the further burden of financial problems on the student.

Fees and Financial Aid

Jawaharlal Nehru technological University Anantapur College of engineering offers a full waiver of college fee by the scholarship called as jnanabhumi or epass scholarship. Other scholarships include Central sector scholarship for merit and Pragathi scholarship for girl students.

Campus Life

3

Every department consists of its constituent labs and the infrastructure is just awful and not advanced to any possible extent. They need to be revamped to present standards and updated periodically. The sports are just fine in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel infrastructure is nice and good. The quality of food needs to be improved though. There are different hostels for students of different years and they are pleasant and liveable. Problem addressal is a little late and has to be improved.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors generally help if there is any problem to the juniors in the college. The relationship is good and nice. Alumni provides good support to the ideas and implementations of the students and help in their possible way.

Admission

I wrote EAMCET after completing my 12th standard. I got a good rank and applied for this college in the counseling process and got the seat. In the counseling process various options have to be put and as per your rank you get allotted with a seat.

Faculty

3

The faculty of the college are experienced enough but the number of professors and assistant professors is well short of the required number for a university college. The quality of teaching is just okay and needs improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
