Remarks
Our college is very strict and disallows any illegal activities which generally happen in other colleges. So I take out tht as the biggest positive. Only negative I would say is they conduct too many tests which is strenuous for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The first year is just the introduction of all the branches. This knowledge is put into use in core branches. And in second year they start off with your core branch. And 2nd year is known to be the toughest of all the years.
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good. the best placements are for computer science and information science students , going upto 40 lpa. Electronics also has decent placement opportunities going up to 30 lpa. Other branches have relatively low placements
College Events
The best event in our college is our fest called 8th mile. There are also other fests like E cell, Ethnic day etc. There are lot of events hosted by clubs like night cricket, night Football etc. 8th mile, our fest is said to be one of the best fests in bangalore
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. It depends on your economic status. It is 1.5 lacs per year for comedk students and 53000 per year for cet students. There is also a management quota which has to pay fees of 4- 6 lacs per year
Fees and Financial Aid
I have not come across any loan facility or scholarship offered by my college. But they do offer a scholarship for students of certain states, after strictly verifying all their documents and ensuring that he deserves it.
Campus Life
Our college has sports teams in all sports. There are lot of facilities in the college. There is a tennis court, 2 badminton courts, 1 basketball court, a cricket ground and a football ground. There are many good technical clubs in the college like Ashwa Rcing, Helios Racing Coding Club etc
Alumni/Alumna
Our most renowned alumni is Anil Kumble, India's most successful bowler. He passed out with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. The seniors are generally helpful. They give you advice when you ask them or when you're confused.
Admission
I had to write an entrance test called ComedK. You are eligible to write Comedk for admission for colleges in Karnataka. The test was pretty easy. I got a decent rank and got a mechanical engineering seat
Faculty
The faculty is decent.There are some teachers who have extraordinary knowledge while some are just average. They provide notes and teach via ppts. Some teachers also conduct regular tests to ensure that the students are in sync.
