Remarks
The campus of this college is small which provides limited options for hanging out. Also in and out time are specified so students cannot go outside apart from those timings. College wifi is not open so internet options are limited to system computers only.
Course Curriculum Overview
1st year course is common for all the branches. All the students are divided into two groups, the course taught to the first group in first semester is taught to the second group in second semester and vice versa. An year is divided into two semesters and each semester has two internal Examinations called midterms, each midterm has a written test as well as practical examination. At the end of the semester there are University practical Examinations conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University. The second semester starts after a break of ten days. The course includes basics of all the subjects.
Placement Experience
Placements in this varry from branch to branch, placements for CS, IT branches are good but for other branches like civil, electrical and mechanical are not that great. Students find internship from their own sources, college provide limited help in this area.
College Events
The primary college fest is called Pravah which is held at the end of February. This event spans over 6 days and include technical, non-technical events. This college is very good at hosting conferences of both national and international level of different fields.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of this college is around 80000 which is priscriy by RTU, it is feasible when compared to other private colleges. Other minimal charges are also there like RTU registration and caution charges which are paid over the course fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is provided by RTU. TFWS is provided to students based on their 12th marks and JEE Mains score and the annual income of their parents. Under this a students just needs to pay the development fee and tuition fees is off for him/her.
Campus Life
The college has many clubs like NSS, DocuDrama, Toastmasters, Automotive, Photography, Dance, Tech Inova, knowledge club, Entrepreneurship club etc. Club activities are held every Wednesday in the last two hours of college and classes are off in that period.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior student and alumni are very helpful and have a network within as well as outside college on work websites like LinkedIn. Some alumni help in the maintenance of college website and network solutions.
Admission
I got admission in this college on the basis of my JEE Mains rank, although my college also accepts 12th percentage, but priority is given to JEE Mains score. After the declaration of JEE Mains result I had to fill the REAP form which had a fees of Rs.700 then I had to fill my choice of colleges and courses. After a few days Rajasthan Technical University declared the merit list, then I had to report at my allotted college with necessary documents and paid the first installment of the course fee.
Faculty
The faculty ranges from experienced professors to some less experienced teachers. Some of the faculty are teaching in this college for around two decades while some have a teaching experience of minimum 2 years.
